The aim of this thesis is to clarify the concept of the right to life in the legislative in the Czech Republic and in abroad with a comparison with its unnatural end, while abortion and euthanasia. This work is primarily devoted to law regulation of these institutes, but also covers other aspects such as religion, philosophy and science. It is designed so that each and every chapter is in its introductory section devoted to the formulation of the topic, the historical development in the Czech Republic but also abroad, it introduces the possible procedures and attitudes, it mentions for example and briefly compares similar institutes. Other parts of the diploma deal with legislation whether the right to life, abortion or euthanasia, provides comparison of domestic legislation with internationals. In light of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights points the views and attitudes on the subject at the international level. The final section is then evaluated core issues especially from the standpoint of law.

This diploma thesis provides comparison of the termination of employment relationship in the Czech Republic and in the UK. Within both legal systems this thesis focus on termination of employment relationship based on legal actions of the participants of the employment relationship as well as based on legal situations independent on the will of the participants of the employment relationship. This thesis also analyses sources of employment law in the UK and it provides an overview of the complex judiciary system in the British employment law matters.

The objective of my work has been to monitor the opinions of social workers operating within the departments of social and legal protection of children at village municipalities with an extended scope of authority in the South Bohemian region as related to the problems of child care and education in substitute family care from the perspective of a social worker. The second objective has been to map the situation of children registered by the departments of social and legal protection of children of South Bohemia, the substitute family care of which was terminated before the 18th year of child´s age during the years 2003 {--} 2009. Due to significant reasons substitute family care, with the exception of adoption, can be terminated earlier. This presents a difficult situation both for the foster parents and for the foster children put into substitute family care. The results of my work have shown that most social workers do not lack the assistance of professional facilities that would support foster families in their regions. The most common reason for the termination of substitute family care before the 18th year of child´s age have been educational problems involving a whole range of issues. For most children, the termination of substitute family care resulted in institutional care {--} youth educational centers.

The diploma thesis deals with the closure of an individual enterpreneur and a corporation business from an accounting and tax point of view. Futher, it consideres the requirements which are forced on the enterpreneurs closing business by the different fields of the Czech legislation especially in company law, social security and labour law. Basic problems are simulated on examples of fictitious businessmen.

This thesis analyses student success and dropout (attrition, wastage, non-completion …) and their reflection in the Czech higher education policy. Strategic documents of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports declared student dropout to be a problem already in 2000 and 2005. However, only limited and vague measures were proposed, and even those have not been fully implemented while the dropout rates have continued to increase every year. The thesis applies the perspective of "problem delimitation" in the public policy process, discovering that many actors determining the policy formulation do not share the belief that dropout is a problem and that it should be dealt with by public policy means. It seems that no actor has been so far able to present the issue as a well-structured, and therefore solvable, problem. Besides, a lack of consensus on relevant underlying values and goals, a deficiency of suitable means aligned with other essential values - in particular the effort to increase the quality in higher education - is observed. The thesis deals with legal aspects of euthanasia with special focus on criminal law context. It is divided into four broad chapters. First chapter defines terms that need to be understood perfectly for further work on the topic. Therefore, it deals with the term "euthanasia" and its division into active and passive euthanasia, direct and indirect, requested and unsolicited. There are also mentioned some related institutes such as dysthanasia, palliative and hospice care and assisted suicide. Last but not least, this chapter presents some arguments for and against euthanasia. Second chapter is devoted to legislation in foreign countries where euthanasia (or assisted suicide) has been legalized. Wider context of foreign legislation is important for realizing the consequences that possible legalization of euthanasia in the Czech Republic would bring. It can be clearly seen on the example of individual foreign states what legalization of euthanasia entails, how stringent the conditions that a request for termination of life has to meet are, and ultimately, we can decide whether we tend to endorse the legalization of euthanasia or go in the opposite course. This work deals with problems of the termination of labor relation in the Czech Republic, as well as Slovak Republic. I approached this topic by comparing the currently valid regulations as stated in the Labor Codes of the Czech and Slovak republics. I consider thorough knowledge of this issue to be of great practical importance. I am convinced that labour is one of the most important attributes determining systemic functioning of the whole society. From the presentation of the labour as a basic means of production of any state system we can deduce a great amount of interesting information. The work is and always has been a prerequisite to our survival and is thus the foundation of any state system. My thesis is divided into six separate chapters, each of which deals with labor law from a different perspective. The first chapter deals with the subject, purpose and content of labor law. The second chapter describes the history of the labor law and is divided into two parts before and after 1989. Therefore it also describes the situation in Czechoslovakia, where identical laws were applied in all legal sectors. The thesis was focused on the evaluation of the systém of the milk quotas. This mode of regulation of the milk market should be completed in 2015. The aim of the thesis was to assess the pros and cons of regulation, including the potential impact of the termination of this systém for milk producers in the Czech Republic. In the first part has been processed the information about the milk quota system, its development and possible future condition. The second part of the thesis was focused on the assessment of the information obtained from a questionnaire survey from milk producers.

Aim of this thesis is to plot employee care in organizations and companies, that have a seat in Pelhřimov district. The thesis deals with employee relationships and employee care, where participate working hours and work regime, work enviroment, personal development of employees, services provided to employees by employer, employee benefits, work safety and protection of their health and their motivation and stimulation as well. The first step during processing of this thesis was studying the special literature; making of questionaries was directly connected with it. The questionary was essintial for following survey and the survey took four months. Then, acquired information were processed and incuded into graphs and charts and annotated. The result of the thesis is an undestandable picture of employee care in Pelhřimov district and discovery of the greatest problems and the most problematic branches of the national economy.
