Projekt: Předškolní estetická výchova "PEV" / Project: Pre-school aesthetical education "PAE"

The main topic of this diploma thesis is project called Pre-school aesthetic education "PAE", which is tought at Elementary Art School. In theoretical part are generally explained terms aesthetic, aesthetic education and their brief history, current possibilities of aesthetic education in selected Elementary Art Schools and characteristic of PAE project. Research part focus on acquisition of the project in education at Elementary Art Schools, effectiveness in the selection of artistic field in pre-school age and at least suitability of including this project into the School Education Program of other Elementary Art Schools. For the research were used empirical methods (observations, questionnaire, interviews). Overall results of research are based on comparison and evaluation of the answers from all respondent categories. These results show positive evaluation of PAE, which suitably fills the pre-school period of children with meaningful activities, which are connected with comprehensive development of personality. Extensive appendix brings closer view to the work of children in PAE classes. It contains scanned pictures, newspaper articles and patterns of questionnaires. The thesis in theoretical layer deals with issues of pedagogical secondary schools, particularly in methodological approaches to preschool education. The author will focuses on this topic from the perspective of high-school of pedagogy teachers. She will elaborate on psychological characteristics of a preschool age child in the context of integration and polyaesthetization. She will characterise processes by which personal values are formed. She will deal with dynamics of contemporary changes of both society and family and with perception of education in kindergartens in the field of personality concept of education. The research will introduce opinions on contemporary needs of pedagogical practice and its reflection on professional pedagogical, scientific and academic grounds that will be ascertained through the means of interviews with teachers having a long-time experience with teaching at pedagogical high schools in the Czech Republic and by survey among secondary pedagogical school's students.

The aim of this thesis is to make a project documentation of building School of art. It´s a brick object with partial basement and there are 2 aboveground floors. The entrance of the house is situated north. The object has grand plan which is shape of the letter U and its roofed by flat roof with waterproofing from modified waterproofing strips. The peripheral masonry on the above-ground floors is designed from clay masonry POROTHERM and from permanent formwork Diton in the basement. Ceiling constructions are designed from prestressed concrete deck slab Spiroll. The whole building is insulated by contact thermal insulation system. When designing the external appearance of the building the regulations of the surrounding buildings, which consist of houses with flat roofs, were taken into account. The color and material solutions were also based on these principles. The combination of white and brick colors creates a modern look, which enhances the horizontal separation of individual floors by contrasting color line in gray. The premises of the new school also include large outdoor atrium spaces and a park area south of the atrium, which can be used for outdoor teaching and public productions.

The final thesis is focused on a new building of School of arts in Valašské Meziříčí. The object has three floors, it has a basement and two above-ground floors witch a flat roof. A loadbearing structure is made of skeleton - reinforced concrete monolithic columns and reinforced concrete monolithic floor slabs. Filling masonry is made of ceramic tiles. Object has thermal insulation by mineral wool. Detailed solution of final thesis deals with the solution of main building School of arts, where are the schoolrooms and technical facilities. In the other parts of the object are a staff facilities, multipurpose hall, café and underground garage.

This thesis deals with social environment, especially its influence on out-of-school musical education of children. The thesis also examines factors, that influence out-of- school education of children. The thesis contains theoretical and practical part. In theoretical part the term of social environment and its possible influence on out-of- school musical education of children are defined and clarified. Different social groups, that children usually walks through in their lives, are described in individual chapters. Big attention is given to these social groups. In thesis problematics of influence of massmedia on children's musical development is delineate. The thesis also offer detailed list of institutions in which children have opportunity to musically educate themselves. The practical part consists of research of influence of social environment on out-of-school musical education of children and maps factors, that decide where children musically educate themselves, which musical instrument children play and also delineates problematics outlines of commuting to out-of-school music instititions. Art Societies of Central Europe in the Context of the 19th Century's Social Modernization This dissertation focuses on the changing relations between society and art in the course of the 19th century. It observes the development within three cities - Leipzig, Prague and Brno - exponents of three different national environments. The thesis is based on the comparison of art societies representing these environments. Leipzig-based society Leipziger Kunstverein is a probe into the world of German art, Umělecká beseda of Prague demonstrates the quest for continuous development of Czech national artistic discourse and Brno's Mährischer Kunstverein is an example of the specifics of German community ringed by Slavic majority in Moravia. The thesis presents a view of Central-European artistic life, heavily determined by the dynamics of the 19th century's social modernization - the formation of civic society and national movements as well as the change of social discourse (namely concerning aesthetics and art history) about fine arts and its performers.

1 ABSTRACT The thesis discusses possibilities of application of the concept of lifelong education in Basic Art Schools. The goal of the thesis is to propose a basic model of adult education which could be applied in Basic Art Schools. It focuses on the analysis of the literature on lifelong learning, lifewide learning, further education, and also on the analysis of strategic documents of the European Union and the Czech Republic in the field of lifelong learning and further education. Based on the analyses of the documents and external environment, a model of adult education in Basic Art Schools is proposed, the applicability of which is verified by a research investigation. A survey research examines the existence of education of diverse target groups of adults (both laymen and experts) in Basic Art Schools in Prague, the ratio of adult to younger students and the employed methods of their education. Structured interviews among five headteachers of Basic Art Schools in Prague clarify specific details of the process of educating adults in Basic Art Schools and provide more observations on the topic. The thesis contributes to the advancement of the concept of lifelong learning in the sphere of Basic Art Schools. The diploma thesis The survival strategy used by children and youth imprisoned in the Terezin ghetto between 1942 - 1945 based on their diaries is a study, which analyze some extant diaries written by children deported during Word War II to the Terezin ghetto. As the main sources served archive materials, especially unpublished children's diaries kept in the Jewish Museum of Prague and in the Terezin Memorial. Terezin ghetto (Theresienstadt) was exist between November 1941 and May 1945. Part of this work is concise representation of the ghetto's beginning and function and overall conditions. In the following chapter is briefly described children's homes, which were established thanks to Jugendfürsorge, department which cared about youth in the ghetto. This part deals with the moral influence on children given by the specific conditions and it was presented supporting function of the arts performed by adult prisoners and children too. The main part of this work consists in a researching of the diary entries sorted in predermined aspects. One of them is the space-time aspect. It was selected some entries which described the past, the present and the future. Other entries included reflecting of space out of the ghetto and space in. The work confronts prosaic pieces with noticeable autobiographical features. It deals namely with works of Edgar Dutka, Eliška Vlasáková and Antonín Bajaja. It was not a coincidence to choose right these three Czech authors. They have quite a few features in common. They all belong to the same generation. They are born in the 40's of the 20th century, so they have spent an essential part of their lives (childhood, adolescence and substantial part of their working age) in the second half of the 20th century - in the time of political convulsions and social changes. A childhood spent during this period has become their common literary theme. They all make their memories a literary piece. Each of them does it in a different way and with a different amount of accuracy. Their inspiration comes from their real life, from their memories. The next common feature of these three authors is that they all wrote some of their texts without a vision to make them public. They wrote them for themselves. Book editions were carried out after the year 2000. Last but not least mutual fact is that all of these three authors have been nominated for a prestigious literary price.
