Povídky z díla Guy de Maupassant v českých překladech / Stories by Guy de Maupassant in Czech translation

Mundevová, Lenka January 2012 (has links)
In its first part, the thesis deals with Guy de Maupassant's life, the importance of short stories in his work, their reception in the French and Czech literary milieu as well as their uniqueness in the context of the literary movements of the 19th century. As a part of the thesis, an overview of the Czech translations of Guy de Maupassant's short stories is included. A separate chapter is devoted to their reception in the Czech literary context. The second empirical part focuses on the comparative critical analysis of the inital texts and their translations. The translations were chosen so that they could represent different generations of Czech translators (1902 - Pavel Projsa, 1960's - Luděk Kárl and Břetislav Štorm, 1990's - Dana Melanová). Here, the thesis deals with the skills of the translators to express the stylistic concisseness of Maupassant as well as the different stylistic levels of the original text (pathos and poetic language on one hand and informality on the other). In the conclusion, a final critical evaluation of the translations is given.

Základní umělecká škola ve Strakonicích / The Primary Art School in Strakonice

DRÁBKOVÁ, Lucie January 2010 (has links)
Primary art schools enjoy a long tradition in our country. The Primary Art School ``Kochana z Prachové{\crqq} in Strakonice celebrates already the 70th anniversary of its foundation. It is surprising that nobody has attempted to elaborate a comprehensive work concerning its history for the whole period. With respect to the fact that I have been teaching the piano playing here since 2006 and therefore I have become a part of it, I have chosen just the history thereof as the subject of my thesis. The Primary Art School participates in many cultural activities of the town of Strakonice and it is an important educational institution because it provides education to 750 pupils in four subjects - the musical, graphic, dancing and literary-dramatic ones and it prepares talented pupils for the study at secondary schools, colleges and universities focused on arts.

The territory in question for the design of architectural study is located in the city of Brno-Zidenice, cadastral area of Zidenice, on the left (east) bank of the river Svitava, 2 km east of the historic core. An area of about 4.1 ha is bounded on the south Bubenickova street, on the east side is street Kopernikova, Lazaretni is on the north and on the west side is nameless street, which currently serves as a handler - connecting. The subject of this diploma thesis is the architectural study of the design of the urban spatial structure with intensive use of city urban area, designed in pre-diploma project, which preceded diploma thesis. The meaning this proposal is to achieve higher densities while maintaining quality of life and living environment. The shape of the object´s ground plan based on the area. The shape defined Bubenickova street from the south side and street Kopernikova defined the shape from the east side, which are themselves almost perpendicular. Also the shape is parallel with a very important point territory - the urban spa (architect B. Fuchs, 1931), which is adjacent to the proposed facility and the stresses their importance in terms of architecture. The spatial resolution respects the surrounding buildings. The aim is to release the most western part, which is defined for parking, urban public transportation, entrances to underground garages and green areas. Green area is also located in the northern part of the territory where it is created park with a water feature and tangled hiking trails. Obytný soubor Brno-Řečkovice / Residential complex Brno - Reckovice

Macečková, Eliška January 2013 (has links)
The area is located in the north part of Brno (Řečkovice a Mokrá Hora) and is surrounded by a housing estate. To the south of this area is a complex of former barracks. In our project we propose to use the area as a residential district with public amenities. Sports ground and the park are included. Currently there are terraced houses and separated family houses. We especially use low-floor blocks of houses with no more than four floors. Orientation of the blocks corresponds with the fact that this area is on the north slope. Family houses with gardens are situated on the east side of the area. The area is accessible from the Žilkova street (on the east) and from the Terezy Novákové street (on the west) – buildings on this street make a noise barrier. The square of our area is next to this street and represents a public place with public amenities (for example a retirement house and a school of art), underground car park and a pedestrian precint leading to the park. A tram stop is nearby. Sports ground and the park are situated in the north part of the area. In the central part we find the kindergarten. Underground car parks for the residents are under the blocks and its courtyards.

Sídliště Lesná v kontextu času / Block housing estate Lesna in context of time

Guzdek, Adam Unknown Date (has links)
Brno Lesna is ranked among the most highly regarded housing estates in Czechoslovakia ever since it was built in the 1960s. Mainly due to its ideal location at southern slopes around natural ravine and timeless urban design. This settlement at the time also constituted the most perfect realization of the current method of construction in our country. It was fully functional and completely finished even before first residents moved in. However, cultivated expression of housing architecture was recently severely affected by inappropriate revitalization. Change of ownership after the events of November 1989 also opened the way for development companies desiring to open spaces to build new apartment buildings. Original inhabitants, though, fight against it and seek for protection of whole settlement as heritage.

Recepce nizozemského realismu v pozdně gotické deskové malbě v Čechách / The Reception of Dutch Realism in the Late Gothic Panel Painting in Bohemia

Fiřt, Jan January 2016 (has links)
The dissertation deals with the reception of Dutch realism in the late Gothic panel painting in Bohemia. Its aim is to examine the principles of reception of new artistic forms and ideas that originated in the Dutch art centers in the 15th century. The Czech painting of the 15th century was adopting these innovative trends exclusively from the neighbouring countries. Therefore, the work addresses mainly issues related to artistic exchanges between Bohemia and the surrounding - mostly German-speaking - regions. It looks into the specific ways in which artistic exchange took place - the mobility of artists, art imports, the importance of graphic and other models. The dissertation focuses on the most important examples that show the reception of Dutch realism: The Ark of Grand Master Puchner, The Křivoklát Altarpiece, and works associated with it. These matters are addressed mainly through a formal stylistic analysis and formal comparison. In the case of the Puchner Ark, via these methods, it has been possible to point out a possible artistic basis of the author in Swabia - within a circle of the followers of the Master of the Sterzing Altarpiece. The dissertation has tried to prove the artistic origin of the Master of the Litoměřice Altarpiece within the circle of the Ulm painter B. Zeitblom. These...
