Diploma thesis The Artistic Exhibition in the Post-Industrial Area deals with issues of post-industrial sites and their connection with artistic expositions. The thesis consists of two main parts, theoretical and design. Firstly, the theoretical part defines the main concepts related to the given issue. The following section deals with examples of conversion of such sites in European cities and also cities under the conditions of the Czech Republic. In these examples, the thesis aims to evaluate the process of converting post-industrial sites and the characteristics of their current state. The diploma thesis is looking for a connection with art in these locations. Secondly, the design part of the thesis contains analysis of the primary secondary and tertiary structure of a selected territory and also deals with the broader context in the territory which is crucial in the complex urbanistic conditions of the statutory city of Ostrava. The following part of the thesis deals with the detailed proposal of the locality in Ostrava, near the Lower Vítkovice Area (Dolní Oblast Vítkovice) and Hlubina Mine. The aim of this section is to create an urban park that will respect the Genius Loci, the current content and traffic in the territory. The thesis deals with problems and conflicts in the area and solves them adequately according to the current state of the territory. The proposal also includes artistic objects and creates conditions for the artistic exhibitions. The final chapter discusses and evaluates the possible continuation and connection to the given issue.

Our changing relationships to things and materials forces us to seek new strategies and patterns to create "artistic situations," the meaning of which is reversible, non-fixed. Each situation can be decomposed and no one thing is more important than another. This unfettered process of thinking about things offers more liberated forms without finding any particular higher importance, or truth. Just as speculative realists were not uplifting the knowledge of the individual about things, the thing by itself circulates and operates without our participation. This idea of anther unknown reality, in which everything is fundamentally different and where things are circulating without us, brings more open ways to compose and decompose things in artistic practice. Because one does not have to react to things as they are, but only to things as they appear. Perhaps what makes an artistic gesture so powerful is not the gesture itself but the moment before the gesture or between the gestures. These spaces between the gestures allow the viewer to reflect on what is being seen and experienced.

The thesis discusses the Army Songs and Dances Ensemble Jánošík, today Army Art Ensemble Ondráš. It focuses on the development and profiling of the dance section of this Ensemble in a historical context. The thesis is divided into five main chapters. The first part deals with the terms ?folklore? and ?folklorism? which are closely related to the history of the ensemble. The next chapter follows the structure of the group's organisation according to the historical development. Profiling of the ensemble's repertory face and detailed description of the activities of its dance department are an integral part of the thesis. The last part focuses on significant creative personalities, whose work distinctly influenced the overall forming of the ensemble with respect to the artistic point of view.

The thesis Coproducing in Opera discusses opera productions and opera joint projects that are based on the cooperation between theatres or festivals. While the thesis provides an insight into various issues of contemporary Czech opera scene, it comments on positive impact of the coproduction. For the respective theatres, the coproduction decreases the costs of the production, as well as it broadens the repertory. Yet, the coproduction shows are still quite rare. The thesis describes a process of a creation of such a project in the theatre operated by more than one theatre company; it discusses it's specific management and contractual relationships. The thesis also mentions other types of cooperation, e.g. purchase of the production or lease of the production. The opera coproduction is the future of the Czech opera theatre.

This diploma thesis is focused on the work of violin teachers at primary music schools from the perspective of a psychological influence on students. Possibilities available to teacher for psychological support of education and student´s development are examined. Musical abilities and musical talent are studied with focus on possibilities of musical development of students.Then, teacher´s attitude to students and it´sdiffernt variants are described. It is emphasized the importance of concentration and attention, knowledge of motivation in each period of student´s studies, and good preparation for concert performances. Teacher should know about all possibilities of psychological field which can help him to teach students as well as to communicate with their parents. Chapters on psychological process of teaching, its different types and possibilities of usinh it for violin teaching are listed at the end of this thesis.

Současnou uměleckou scénu ovládá multimediální tvorba. Ta je naprosto přirozeným důsledkem tendencí usilujících o překonání hranic mezi uměleckými druhy, které se prosazovaly již v samotných počátcích avantgardního umění. Razantním způsobem přispěl k zrušení hranic mezi uměleckými druhy dadaismus, především pak curyšský kabaret Voltaire, a celý proces vyvrcholil v druhé polovině 20. století. O to absurdnější je současný stav umělecké komparatistiky, které chybí metodologická základna. Přitom jazyková komparatistika se právem pyšní dokonale propracovanou metodou komparace. Proto také řada prací umělecké komparatistiky vychází z této metodologické základny - po pravdě řečeno v lepším případě, protože většina z nich se tímto problémem nezatěžuje. I address the subject of experiencing and personating in my thesis. I try to capture principal Stanislavkij´s and Diderot´s theories in one capture but mainly I try to reflect upon my own experiences. I compare all my graduation stagings in the Disk theatre and I describe in individual chapters how I worked on particular characters, how I approaches my work, which expressive devices i chose etx.

Diploma thesis Methodological preparation of playing trumpet from elementary art schools to universities is dedicated to preparation of playing trumpet across all levels of study. It is focused on research of basic skills needed for improvement of the right way of playing trumpet, such as exercising for regular diaphragmatic breathing and with all activites that lead to this way of breathing, also with making of embouchure and all complications that can occur during playing. It is also dealing with the instructions, which is the best way to follow from the very beginning of playing trumpet, and offers simple solutions to possible difficulties. It is also focused on suitable methodological schools which are effective on teaching and on psychological preparation of interpreter.

This diploma work focuses on the water mill with so called artistic composition in the village Radoškov, district Velké Meziříčí. The documentation of the current state of technological equipment and the plotting to drawings are performed. It is photographed and missing equipment is added to the drawings according to researched information of the composition of the mill just before its closing down in 1952. The draft for renovation of the building is made according to owners' wishes, whose plan is either to place a new water wheel or a turbine to produce electricity and partial commissioning for agronomical uses.

Cílem této práce je pokusit se zauvažovat o složitém procesu podání barev při filmové výrobě z pohledu kameramana a obajsnit tím význam barev v souvislosti s kameramanskou profesí a ustanovením oboru kameramanství jako jedné z podob umělecké formy.
