Tímová kohézia a tímový úspech v elitných mládežníckych športových družstvách / Team cohesion and team success in elite youth sport teams

Šiška, Pavol January 2014 (has links)
The main aim of this dissertation was to examine the relationship between team success and team cohesiveness with a sample of elite youth sport teams. The secondary aim of this international thesis was to translate and analyze the psychometric properties of responses to the Czech and Slovak versions of the Youth Sport Environment Questionnaire (YSEQ; Eys, Loughead, Bray, & Carron, 2009b) in a sample of elite youth handball and soccer players. The accomplishment of the second purpose involved three phases of research. First, the questionnaire was translated into the Czech and Slovak languages by method of parallel back-translation. In Phase 2, feedback was sought on the translated versions of each questionnaire from both researchers (N = 2) and athletes (N = 52) to ensure the clarity of the instructions and the readability of the items. Subsequent confirmatory analyses in the final phase provided an adequate fitting model for both Czech and Slovak versions with an independent sample (N = 352) from youth sport teams. These results offer further support to Eys et al.'s (2009b) proposed two dimensional model underlying their measure of cohesion for youth sport groups. In terms of the general purpose, we employed structural equation modeling to examine the direction of that relationship via a...

Balážová, Eva January 2011 (has links)
Diploma thesis "Free concept maps in social research" deals with the possibility of using the free concept map technique in social research. To cope with this question, the author defines three domains of examination. The first one addresses the theoretical background of the research technique along with it's evolution from it's precursor - the mental models. Terminology used in literature and also later in the thesis will also be introduced within this domain. The second domain is dedicated to the introduction of our research, which used the free concept maps as a research tool. The analysis of data and their interpretations will pose as one of the conditions for the third domain - the comparison of the free concept map technique with the social survey technique. Research reports with a similar topics as the one we studied, the motivation od students to apply to university, will be used for comparison. Both techniques will be compared on the basis of in-advance prepared factors defined on the the basis of individual characteristics of each method. The outcome of the paper has the form of summary and critical analysis of the method.

Vybrané psychologické aspekty židovské identity v současné české společnosti / Selected psychological features of Jewish identity in contemporary Czech society

Warren, Jana January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on selected psychological aspects of Jewish identity, namely its content and meaning in contemporary Czech society. It reviews how the bearers of this identity understand and feel positive or negative aspects related to it in their lives. The theoretical part introduces the field of identity in psychology in general and subsequently focuses specifically on Jewish identity. The chosen theoretical model of identity, adjusted to the Czech environment, represents the basis for applied research of this identity. The empirical part is conducted as a qualitative study by means of interpretative phenomenological analysis of in-depth semi-structured interviews. The results mapping contemporary Jewish identity in Czech society should be utilised to raise awareness about this frequently overlooked topic and perhaps also further utilised by professionals who encounter Jewish identity in their work. Analytické dispozice vizuální etnografie / Analytical dispositions of visual ethnography

Durňak, Milan January 2019 (has links)
The objectives of this dissertation thesis could be divided into two primary analytical- interpretation areas. The first one would be trying to define the starting position of visual anthropology based on current trends in order to think about the active ingredients that discipline bases its knowledge and research. The image and sound penetrate our world to such an extent that it is necessary to reflect on the role that space plays in our life and how it is necessary to continue to work with these audiovisual principles in visual anthropology. At the same time, virtual and digital ethnography focuses our attention on changing the nature of our terrain, which needs to be taken into account immediately in our research. In some audio-visual projects I try to reflect different analytical-interpretative approaches and methods. In the project "Musicians" I ask questions how to process the theme of folk musicians from northeastern Slovakia, whose representations appear in a world full of openness, interconnection and sharing. In the experimental film project Watching Last Judgment I try to find ways to mediate sensory experience in a specific space connecting the sacred and profane places of the historic monastery in Voronet, Romania. In the last project I devote my analytical reasoning to this...

We explain actions, attitudes and interests of actors in the transformation process of hospitals by using research methods such as an analysis of selected events in health care and research of actors' actions. These research methods are based on different methods of data collecting such as semi-structured and informal interviews, a questionnaire survey and the study of secondary sources. The main aim of this thesis is an analysis of the transformation process of hospitals into joint stock companies in context of selected events in health policy, with a focus on research of actors' actions, attitudes and interests in this process.
