Studium vlnově-částicových interakcí v kosmickém plazmatu / Analysis of wave-particle interactions in space plasmas

Černý, Miroslav January 2011 (has links)
This work deals with the linear analysis of plasma waves, especially with the methods of solution of a hot plasma dispersion relation. There are cited some results achieved in the space plasma research and mapped current numerical methods of their analysis. Besides, this work introduces a new numeric procedure, computer code PDRS (Plasma Dispersion Relation Solver), which allows finding solution of a dispersion function of a cold or hot plasma with general distribution function. It also demonstrates the usage of the PDRS methods on real examples of waves in space plasma based on the spacecraft Cluster measurement.

Interakce gravitačního záření s látkou / Interaction of gravitational radiation with matter

Tintěra, Tomáš January 2013 (has links)
In the present work we study gravitational waves in the approximation of high frequency, and their interaction with matter waves with comparable frequency. We generalize the formalism of R. A. Isaacson to the case of non-vacuum spacetimes. We formulate and study a technique of so called averaging, which helps us to separate slow changes and high-frequency fluctuations of various tensor fields. The described methods are used in examples with a given particular metric - so called background metric. We thus study the interaction of high-frequency gravitational waves on the Robinson- Trautman background and the high-frequency electromagnetic waves. Further, we seek a perfect fluid with high-frequency energy-momentum tensor that could coexist with high-frequency gravitational waves on the flat Friedmann-Lemaˆıtre-Robertson-Walker background; again, we examine the relation between those potential gravitational and matter waves.

The Concept of Time in Virginia Woolf´s Novels (Orlando, The Waves)

KRAMELOVÁ, Lucie January 2015 (has links)
The focus of this Diploma Thesis is the work of Virginia Woolf as a representative of the literary modernism in England between the two World Wars. The Thesis also deals with the diaries of the famous writer, and it defines the basic philosophical concepts in the modernist experiment (concept of time, stream of consciousness technique) on the basis of the reading and analysis of her late novels.

Návrh malé vodní nádrže v katastrálním území Volenice / Design of small water reservoir in cadastral area Volenice

Harnisch, Karel January 2016 (has links)
The theme of this diploma theses is project of the small water reservoir on Mačický brook in cadastral Volenice. Water reservoir is designed mainly for the accumulation function, Water reservoir can improve water flow in the catchment area behind reservoir. In the first part of this thesis is the literature searches which process the topic of the climate changes. Designed reservoir can work as a measure for mitigation one of the consequences of climate change drought. Further this section dealt with possibilities of design of all required elements for project of water reservoir. The second part is focused on the very characteristics of the selected area which are used as base for the design. The third part dealt with the design of the required individual objects for proper operation of the reservoir and their verification by using hydrotechnical calculations and flood wave transformation. Also is specified the design of the integration of the reservoir into the countryside by using riparian vegetation.

Akviziční systém pro snímání elektrogramu / The acquisition system for electrogram recording

Fajmon, František January 2017 (has links)
This thesis deals with acquisition and wireless transmission of EKG from isolated heart. Basic of heart anatomy and physiology are discussed in thesis. Practical part of thesis covers the idea of ECG acqusition system design and development. Arduino platform is used for implementation of proposed device. Evaluation of ECG is performed in Matlab workspace.

Možnosti klinického využití jednoduchých a tandemových rázových vln. / Possibilities of clinical use single and tandem shock waves.

Zeman, Jan January 2016 (has links)
Shock waves have been used in medicine for more than 30 year. At the beginning was mainly use for lithotripsy, but today is also applied in other fields of medicine, such as orthopedics, rheumatology and others. Single shock wave is one shock that usually is repeated every 1-1.5 seconds. By contrast tandem shock waves are two shocks consecutively (ideal interval between shocks is from 8 to 15 microseconds), that are repeated. In this work we investigated the clinical use of single and tandem shock waves that are generated entirely new source. It is based on the principle of multichannel discharge. It was found that a single shock wave can destroy the union between bone and bone cement, this effect could be used in orthopedics. Single and tandem shock wave can damage the tumor in vivo, but the principle damage is different. Tandem shockwave is able to cause damage in a depth of acoustically homogeneous medium and enhances the effect of chemotherapy. It would therefore be possible to used single and tandem shock waves in oncology either alone, or their combination with other chemicals. Functional sample of clinically usable applicator of shock waves with a new source was made for these applications. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Metody stanovení hydraulických parametrů rázových vln v souvislosti s provozem MVE / Estimation of hydraulic parameters of surge waves caused by the small hydropower plants operation

Brůžek, Jan January 2015 (has links)
The objective of this thesis is verifying estimation of hydraulic parameters of surge waves and compare the possibility to use software in assesing the surge waves caused by small hydropower plants operation. The study is divided to several parts which includederivation of analytic solution, description of numerical solution, verification of selected estimations and aplication on real example.

Hydraulické posouzení rázových jevů v jezové zdrži Střekov / Hydraulic assessment of surge waves in the Strekov weir reservoir

Stříž, Jaroslav January 2019 (has links)
The main aim of the thesis is to assess the origin of surge phenomena, primarily surge waves at the weir pool Střekov, using the selected methodology. The paper is divided into several parts. There is a brief introduction to the problematics and research of possible solution methods, followed by a verification of these methods on a physical model and finally an application of a numerical method for an assessment of the chosen locality.

Numerické simulace magnetoakustických vln ve sluneční koróně / Numerical simulations of magnetoacoustic waves in solar corona

POKORNÝ, Jan January 2014 (has links)
The topic of the master thesis are the numerical simulations of magnetoacoustic waves in the solar corona in relation to the reconnection of magnetic field. The first part is devoted to the basic description of the Sun, its atmosphere and the processes that occur in it. Other sections are devoted to the description of reconnection of magnetic field and the description of solar flares taking place in the solar corona in relation to the mechanisms of magnetic field reconnection. Then the attention is focused on plasma waves and oscilations. The last section aims to simulate the startup options of the reconnection of magnetic field by oscillations and waves in the Harris current-sheet. Numerical simulations are implemented in FLASH 3.3.
