This diploma thesis defines the co-teaching in relation to individualization of students. It describes the benefits of co-teaching for the beginning teacher. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the co- teaching in relation to individualization and differentiation of teaching, including historical context. It compares co-teaching with a student' assistant and a teacher's assistant. It analyzes the conditions and financing of the co-teaching at the elementary school. I focus on co-taught classes based on comparative study in the practical part. I compare educational conditions of students with learning disabilities in the co-taught class, in the class with the teacher's assistant and the student's assistant. The thesis is devoted to co-teaching, under what conditions it works, what are the benefits of co-teaching in relation to individualization of students during their education. The diploma thesis has a theoretically-empirical character with a focus on the empirical part. The starting point for the solution is the requirement of the primary teacher competence to work with the differentiated group of pupils, take into account different educational needs in the planning, implementation and reflection of teaching. The aim is to determine whether and how teachers fulfill the requirement of primary school in natural science lessons. Describe and evaluate the implementation of this requirement during the realization of specific thematic unit by several teachers. This thesis open the problematics of reading literacy and its development by project teaching. Dissertation is divided into two parts - theoretically and practically. In the first part there is described foundation of projects and project teaching, its history and advantages of its technique. Another topic is reading literacy, especially different concepts and ways of development by RWCT, creative drama and project teaching. Particular project is described in empiric part. Pupils of third class at primal school were observed during project. Qualitative and quantitative research is used in this thesis. The aim of research is influence of project teaching on pupil's motivation during the work with reading matter.

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of application of the model of cooperative teaching in the environment of small schools. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to point out the specifics of small schools in connection with the application of the principles of cooperative teaching. The theoretical part deals with the explanation of basic concepts related to small schools and points out the basic aspects related to the concept of small schools in the Czech Republic, describes the specific qualities of education in small schools while focusing on cooperative teaching and the specifics of cooperative teaching in small schools. Both available monographs and researches that have already been carried out in this area are used. The aim of the empirical part is to identify and describe the application of cooperative teaching in small-class primary schools in the Central Bohemian Region with the help of a questionnaire survey and a case study. The theoretical part deals with the development of children's drawing as a basic understanding of the developmental stages of the child to better determine the workflow in creating a curriculum or project connecting art education and other subjects. It also deals with the embedding of art education in the framework educational program and cross-sectional topics. Various art exercises are proposed for presented topics. The didactic part is devoted to organizational forms of teaching and the definition of the concept of interdisciplinary teaching. In the practical part, two authorial and one adopted project are then analyzed - art education is used in those projects as a connecting element of teaching. In the Kafkomix project, art education is connected with the Czech language, specifically with work The Transformation by Franz Kafka. In the project The Road to Freedom, students are introduced to the history of communism in our country and to the events related to the Velvet Revolution through visual documentation. Part of this project is also an analysis of a questionnaire survey, which was done to determine the level of memorized material by students. Résumé Students of the 1st grade of four-year-grammar school are not well-informed about contemporary literary life. They think that only books that are currently being published should be classified as literature, knowing only the world bestsellers from all of the books that have actually been published. Students have almost never visited any reading or literary fairs. They know nothing about the various Czech literary awards. Some Czech writers, to them, are no longer relevant, for example Arnošt Lustig or Karel Šiktanc. In their minds, the success of an author is measured by the volume of sales and value of money. The severely marginalized authorial status, by viewing the writer not as a "prophet", but instead as an entertainment producer. People generally prefer special effects which offer immediate gratification, because they don't want to spend the time and concentration it takes to read. As far as the students are concerned, reading is boring and difficult. Czech students aren't tought to see value in reading. This could be the result of the methods which are used at Czech schools - suppressing critical thinking and paying more attention to the acquisition of knowledge. This theses concern with project-based learning with an emphasis on the subject Czech language and literature on higher level of czech primary school and secondary schools. It's purpose is to comprehend ideas of this teaching method and current state of its use, as well as to prepare analysis of chosen projects (or project ideas for teaching) in the Czech language and literature. The final goal of this thesis is to design own projects, which could be used by teachers in their praxis. Theses thus consists of two parts. The first on is theoretical and focuses on project-based learning in general, the history of project-based learning, it's planning and preparation. The second part, which is empirical, describes on a qualitative level and critically evaluates some projects and suggests own projects too. This theses could provide valuable material for both experienced and novice teachers in the preparation and implementation of project education at Czech schools. Výtvarná výchova pro žáky se zvláštními potřebami / Art education for pupils with special needs

This thesis is focused on assessing applications of educational contents and goals of the subject Art in the school for pupils with special educational needs. Firsly are characterized the Framework educational programme and School educational programme. Consequently is analyzed the content of School educational program at Elementary and Practical school Svítání, o.p.s. Through action research there are compared the contents of the above binding documents with reality of teaching in the school, which deals with the education of pupils with special educational needs. Action research was realized through video record, transcriptions and analysis of recorded lessons, evaluation of used forms and methods in teaching practice, suggestions and subsequent implementations of didactic art education project with pupils of this school. The work with Framework and School educational programme revealed that the School educational programme subjected to analysis is too focused only on art techniques and specific themes, almost disregards Framework educational programme and very limitedly works with curriculum or expected outcomes discussed herein.
