Zvyšující měnič napětí / Step-up switched power source

Žamberský, Jan January 2016 (has links)

Návrh napájecí části pro ADAHRS / Design of power supply for ADAHRS

Andrysík, Lukáš January 2016 (has links)
This master’s thesis contains basic description od ADAHRS system, DO-160 standard and mainly focuses on power supply desing with supercapacitors backup. It initialy deals with power supply requirements and continues with block diagram and multiple 5 V supply solutions. For selected 5 V supply it describes more deeply its properities and options. As the main theme it deals with providing power supply backup using supercapacitors – selecting particular method and configuring supercapacitor charging/discharging controller. It also includes tolerance and stress analysis of the components used in design. Lastly it describes testing of the final product.

Modifikace nanočástic za letu pomocí chemicky aktivního plazmatu / In-flight modification of nanoparticles by chemically active plasma

Libenská, Hana January 2019 (has links)
Title: In-flight modification of nanoparticles by chemically active plasma Author: Hana Libenská Department: Department of Macromolecular Physics Supervisor: Mgr. Jan Hanuš Ph.D., Department of Macromolecular Physics Abstract: This diploma thesis is focused on a fabrication of the iron nanoparticles using the gas aggregation source with a planar magnetron and their in flight modification by chemically active plasma. The modification of the nanoparticles is based on a radiofrequency glow discharge, that takes place right after the nanoparticles flew out of the gas aggregation source. Nanoparticles are prepared in an argon atmosphere in which a small amount of the n-hexane has been admixed. This n-hexane impurity caused an increase in a deposition rate and higher time stability. The modification takes place in a glow discharge containing a pure argon, or in the mixtures of argon with n-hexane, ethylendiamine, hydrogen or nitrogen. Prepared nanoparticles were characterized using the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning and transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and other techniques. The main aim of this work was to study the influence of the additional discharge on the iron nanoparticles. The chemical composition of the nanoparticles was measured immediatelly after their deposition without...

Změny v distribuci příjmů v USA a dekompozice Giniho koeficientu

Roček, Tomáš January 2017 (has links)
Roček, T. Changes in income distribution in the USA and decomposition of Gini coefficient. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2016. Since the 80s of the last century, the United States has seen a considerable income inequality growth. This diploma thesis analyses the influence of individual income sources on determination of inequality, esteems their significance and formulates instruments that the government can use to affect these sources. This diploma thesis contains decomposition of Gini coefficient. This decomposition revealed, that the source, which is the most important determinant of the total income ine-quality are salaries and wages. Sales of assets contributed the most to the rise of inequality in the analysed period from 2000 to 2014. This income source also has the highest potential for further growth of income inequality. Discussion part, which follows, contains the debate about the main causes of this progression and the relevance of researching the income inequality issue. Based on the approach used in this diploma thesis, it is possible to decompose the Gini coefficient in any state or region, and to explore the inequality determinants in this way. This thesis also offers a comprehensive view on the whole issue.

Precizní laboratorní napájecí zdroj / Precision laboratory power supply

Bartoš, Dalibor January 2020 (has links)
The subject of this thesis is a design of a precision dual channel laboratory power supply with output voltage range from 0 to 30 V and adjustable current limit up to 1 A. The proposed solution is based on linear regulators and input voltage switching system to minimize power dissipation. Galvanically isolated channels of the power supply share the same microcontroller that processes the user inputs. Microcontroller code allows the calibration of the device or it’s communication with computer. The cover of the device is designed with good cooling performance and 3D printing manufacturing method in mind. The properties of the designed laboratory power supply are verified by the final test measurements.

Svítidla a aplikace s Power LED zdroji / Luminaires and Applications with Power LEDs

Vaňko, Adam January 2011 (has links)
Progress in development of modern LEDs, their long lifetime and high luminous efficacy predetermine them for usage in lighting systems. This master's thesis examines possibilities of application of LEDs in luminaires, parameters of diodes and problems, which can appear in construction of luminaire with LED lighting source. In the practical part of this thesis a luminaire is designed, capable of illuminating traffic signs, vertical surfaces, billboards and fasades. By standards required parameters of a lighting system and adaptability of application must be considered in complex predesign. Simulations of lighting scene, created in special computer software, measurements of optical point’s parameters and construction of real luminaire model using high quality CREE LEDs, are included in analysis of the problem. Parameters of the luminaire were proved by measurements of product’s attributes at light laboratory. There are also some suggestions for improvement and further development of the product.

Užití výkonových měničů ve zdrojích vysokého napětí / Usage of High Power Inverters in High Voltage Sources

Zemánek, Miroslav January 2009 (has links)
This work is concerned with power inverters for alternate high voltage power sources. The theoretical part describes the topology of inverters that can be used in alternate power sources. A model of voltage transformer is described in details to better understand the parasitic effects that are inevitably present in high voltage power sources and, therefore, have to be taken into consideration at the design of high voltage power sources. The work is oriented to problems of alternate high voltage power sources for ozone generators. This is the reason, why the theoretical and, partially, also the experimental part deal with the properties of ozone and its use. The experimental part solves high voltage inverter with capacitive load that is formed by discharge element of an ozone generator. Designed inverter is able to feed the capacitive load with high voltage at very short periods of time from several microseconds up to tens of nanoseconds. In comparison with the length of voltage pulses in common ozone generators, this pulses are more than 100-time shorter. This has a positive effect to silent discharge characteristics.

Sociální sítě jako zdroj pro žurnalistiku v České republice / Social media as a source for journalists in Czech Republic

Žemličková, Martina January 2019 (has links)
This Diploma Thesis are focused on social media as a tool for journalists in Czech republic. It contains two main parts - theoretical and practical. In theoretical part, social media are described in general, and Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are described in more details. This part is focused mostly on current trends in social media usage. Theoretical part is also focused on journalist's source problematic, primarily in internet era, and on source's credibility and verifiability. These trends are more described for media field in USA and Czech republic. Theoretical part introduce the newest available studies in social media and journalism field. Practical part is aiming to verify or deny these trends through quantitative analysis of media content, focused on usage of citations from social media as a relevant source for articles. Quantitative analysis is supported with e-mail questioning amongst czech journalist, who complete a context to this issue with their opinion. The research shows that journalists in Czech republic use social media daily for their work and they are following their colleagues from USA, so they use citations from social media more carefully and they verify their sources more. The main reason is the fear of fake news spreading, which they perceive as the biggest thread for...
