Hodnocení hybridního potomstva meruněk s očekávanou resistencí vůči viru šarky švestek (PPV)Kelečeniová, Daniela January 2014 (has links)
This thesis was aimed at selected hybrid offspring of crossing 'Betinka' x 'Harlayne' convert pomological evaluation fruits as determined by the methodology. Evaluate the heritability and correlation of characters between parents and offspring. The evaluation was conducted in the month of July, 2013 in the hybrid orchard at the Institute of Fruit on Horticultural Faculty in Lednice. Samples were taken at harvest maturity and were pomologic evaluated in the laboratory. The evaluation was observed some interesting hybrids. Hybrids H998 11/39 with a weight of fruit 50,3 g and H998 11/157 with a weight of fruit 48,9 g, which had very good taste. Neither one hybrid was observed symptoms of infection plum pox virus PPV. The highest heritability achieve the characters: the refractometric dry matter in %, separability pulp and fertility of hybrids. The highest correlation dependence of the parental varieties and hybrid exhibited the characteristics: attractiveness and weight of ftuits, weight of fruit and weight of the stone. The assessment is transferred in one year.

Vytěžování textu z fotografií / Optical Character Recognition at Camera Captured ImagesKindermann, Hubert January 2014 (has links)
We present solution of steps necessary for binarization and text lines detection contained in printed documents digitized by the camera. We introduce a normalization of non-uniform illumination method for text photographs. We propose input bitmap binarization algorithm based on two-dimensional probability pixel model which also considers its surrounding. We continue with description of robust text lines orientation detector based on optimization of risk function using first order derivatives of image function. In the end we present text lines detection and segmentation algorithm. Final shape of segmented lines is optimized with usage of graph algorithm. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Teorie znaků Rogera Bacona / Roger Bacon's Theory of SignsKarľa, Michal January 2012 (has links)
The subject of this thesis is Roger Bacon`s work De signis. Its goal is to consider in what sense Bacon works out the general theory of signs. In this sense the thesis` method is situated in the field of "archeology of sings". First it examines Bacon`s definition of sign as a relation, investigates its formal properties and ways of application in particular cases, i.e. Bacon`s classification of signs. Then it shows the way in which Bacon applies this general notion in particular examinations, that is in problems of what the words signify, concept of univaocation and equivocation, theory of analogy and last but not least it considers a question of the nature of signification itself. The last chapter is dedicated to the examination of the (re)imposition phenomenon together with consideration of result it has on the notion of sign relation`s nature and how it serves as an explanation of the process in which these relations work. Keywords: Roger Bacon, John Deely, Charles S. Peirce, medieval semiotics, archeology of signs.

Rozpoznávání znaků z realných scén pomocí neuronových sítí / Character recognition of real scenes using neural networksFiala, Petr January 2014 (has links)
This thesis focuses on a problem of character recognition from real scenes, which has earned significant amount of attention with the development of modern technology. The aim of the paper is to use an algorithm that has state-of-art performance on standard data sets and apply it for the recognition task. The chosen algorithm is a convolution network with deep structure where the application of the specified model has not yet been published. The implemented solution is built on theoretical parts which are provided in comprehensive overview. Two types of neural network are used in the practical part: a multilayer perceptron and the convolution model. But as the complex structure of the convolution networks gives much better performance compare with the classification error of the MLP on the first data set, only the convolution structure is used in the further experiments. The model is validated on two public data sets that correspond with the specification of the task. In order to obtain an optimal solution based on the data structure several tests had been made on the modificated network and with various adjustments on the input data. Presented solution provided comparable prediction rate compare to the best results of the other studies while using artificially generated learning pattern. In conclusion, the thesis describes possible extensions and improvements of the model, which should lead to the decrease of the classification error.

Rozpoznávání CAPTCHA / CAPTCHA RecognitionKlika, Jan January 2014 (has links)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of an application for breaking the CAPTCHA. It also describes the history and evolution of CAPTCHA and the ways of its generating and possible techniques of its breaking. This thesis focuses on the new types of CAPTCHA, based on hard character segmentation. So the main target of this thesis is the design and implementation of the new segmentation method, allowing the recognition of modern CAPTCHAs, especially reCAPTCHA.

Kraniometrická studie středoevropských populací bělozubek Crocidura suaveolens a C. leucodon (Mammalia: Soricomorpha) / Craniometric study of Central European populations of the white-toothed shrews Crocidura suaveolens and C. leucodon (Mammalia: Soricomorpha)Milerová, Petra January 2014 (has links)
Interspecific and intraspecific size variability of the skull, mandibles and teeth of the lesser white- toothed shrew Crocidura suaveolens and the bicolored white-toothed shrew C. leucodon was studied on material of 350 skulls and 465 mandibles of white-toothed shrews obtained by analysis of the barn owl pellets originating from four regions in the Czech Republic and one region in the southern Slovakia. C. suaveolens was present in all regions under study, while sympatric C. leucodon occurred in three regions only. In total, 21cranial and dental measurements and 4 mandibular measurements were investigated. It was found that the most reliable measurement enabling discrimination between skulls of both species in the whole studied material is the lenght of the lower dental row. If skulls of both species were evaluated separately for each area of their sympatry it was possible to use also the distance between second molars M2 and the width of premolar P4 . Skulls of these two species can also be distinguished by bivariate graphs using the length and width of premolar P4 and the palatal length. We studied relationships between cranial measurements of both species and geoclimatic factors such as longitude, latitude, mean annual temperature and mean annual percipitation. It was found that variability of...

This thesis introduces readers to the basic types of the text and information inputs and processing to the computer. Thesis also includes historical contexts, current trends and future perspective of computer data input technologies and their use in practice. The first part of the thesis is a summary of a particular forms of entering and processing of the text data and information. The following part presents technological trends on the market concentrated on the automatic speech recognition systems along with the possibilities of their application in the business sphere. The rest of the thesis consists of a survey between Czech IT companies and based on it's results comes a suggestion of which technologies should be used as a part of the information systems.

Detekce objektu ve videosekvencích / Object Detection in Video SequencesŠebela, Miroslav January 2010 (has links)
The thesis consists of three parts. Theoretical description of digital image processing, optical character recognition and design of system for car licence plate recognition (LPR) in image or video sequence. Theoretical part describes image representation, smoothing, methods used for blob segmentation and proposed are two methods for optical character recognition (OCR). Concern of practical part is to find solution and design procedure for LPR system included OCR. The design contain image pre-processing, blob segmentation, object detection based on its properties and OCR. Proposed solution use grayscale trasformation, histogram processing, thresholding, connected component, region recognition based on its patern and properties. Implemented is also optical recognition method of licence plate where acquired values are compared with database used to manage entry of vehicles into object.
