The aim of diploma thesis is the economic analysis of the company Denso Manufacturing Czech s.r.o in 2007 - 2012. Theoretical part describes chosen methods and tools of economic analysis. Selected methods include PEST analysis, horizontal and vertical analysis of the financial statements, ratio analysis, creditworthy and bankruptcy models, DuPont alalysis, balance rules, inter-company comparison and more. In the practical part the company is introduced and then chosen methods of economic analysis are applied in selected period. At the end of the thesis is a summary and recommendations for improving business performance.
