The theses deals with the cooperation between the kindergarten Kytička in Milevsko and family with a focus on environmental education. The theoretical part characterizes family and kindergarten, their aims and function, cooperation between the school and family and its development, the roles of parents and teachers, communication between educational institutions, the environmental education and the project called "The School Garden Together". The practical part contains the research poll which is focused on teachers' statements and statements of parents whose children attent the kindergarten. The survey revealed that although the teachers aim at good cooperation, the parents are only passive consumers of actions and they don't participate in the creation of these actions. The teachers are dissapointed by parents' unwillingness.
