An obsessive, homebody widower accidentally spills his late husband’s ashes into a plant. The plant then speaks and it’s in the voice of his beloved. The widower rejoices until the plant and his no-nonsense mother-in-law lead him on a journey to scatter the remaining ashes, the fuel for the plant’s voice, and say goodbye forever.
