Previous issue date: 2017-03-30 / The representation of religious objects as pain mitigators and hope catalyzers for
parents and relatives of children in clinical treatment has the importance of portraying
the necessity of maintaining practises that ran through centuries, those that
characterize the ethos of certain communities. This study had its aim on identifying the
signification of the sacred object and the religiousness of the caretakers of internship
patients in hospital environment. The central problem was to understand what was the
representations in face of the objects considered as sacrede.The data revealed the
practice of a social ethics, integrated in rules of living together, difficult to understand
in post-modernity. It was verified the social inequality and dependancy of public
benefits. The prevalence of a traditional culture about he life meaning in moments of
pain and death proximity were recurrent to the woman figure and the attachment to the
security representativeness in religiousness and the search por better conditions
facing afflictions. The maintenance of practices that ran through centuries, that
confirmed the ethos of certain communities. The emotional fragility influenced on the
search for comfort, hpe, strength, through religiousness: asking for prayers, using
imagens, objects, bibles, handkerchiefs, chaplets and blessed oils. Due to the amount
of responsibility over the mother figure, it is suggested the divulging of the social and
assistencial benefits to the masculine caretakers, that would promote sensibilization
about the importance of their roles in face of children. It is urgent the training to the
caretaking of children to these and at the same time, the resizing of the physical unit
of the hospital to receive them and a multimedia and welcome room. To the social and
psychological support it is indicated to make available a special fund to support them
during hospitalization, and the same to pay other services, including increase the
number of employees able to support caretakers. This is to conclude that there is a
necessity of training professionals to support caretakers psychologically and spiritually
to the comprehension of religiousness expressions, made possible by planning
intervention strategies, discussions, lectures and creating and reshaping appropriate
physical spaces to religious practeses in hospital environment, as a prevent measure
against conflicts and behaviour disturbs in front of internship children, such as despair
scenes, affliction, repeated prayers and similar behaviour that would cause
significative alteration on the inpatient and companions. / A representação de objetos religiosos como mitigadores da dor e catalisadores da
esperança para os pais e familiares de crianças em tratamento clínico tem a
importância de retratar a necessidade da manutenção de práticas que traspassaram
os séculos, as quais caracterizaram o ethos de certas comunidade. Esse estudo teve
por objetivo identificar o sentido do objeto sagrado e a religiosidade dos cuidadores
de pacientes internados em ambiente hospitalar. O problema central foi compreender
quais são as representações frente aos objetos considerados sagrados. Os dados
revelaram a prática de uma ética social, integrada em regras de convívio, de difícil
compreensão na pós-modernidade. Constatou-se a desigualdade social e a
dependência de benefícios públicos. A prevalência de uma cultura tradicional relativa
ao sentido da vida nos momentos de dor e de eminência da morte foram recorrentes
à figura da mulher e o apego à representatividade da segurança na religiosidade e a
busca por melhores condições diante as suas aflições. Confirmou-se a manutenção
de práticas que traspassaram os séculos, as quais caracterizaram o ethos de certas
comunidade. A fragilidade emocional influenciou na busca pelo conforto, esperança,
força, via religiosidade: solicitação da oração, uso de imagens, objetos, bíblias, lenços,
terços e óleo benzido. Devido o acúmulo da responsabilidade do cuidado pela mãe
sugere-se divulgação dos benefícios sócio-assistenciais aos cuidadores do sexo
masculino, o que promoverá a sensibilização sobre a importância do seu papel
perante o paciente. Torna-se urgente a capacitação para o cuidado aos filhos para
essa clientela e concomitantemente o redimensionamento da unidade física hospitalar
para que possam colocar seus pertences e sala de integração e multimídia. Para o
apoio psicossocial indica-se a disponibilização de bolsa de apoio financeiro durante a
hospitalização, para pagamento a terceiros e aumento do quadro de funcionários
habilitados ao apoio à cuidadora. Concluiu-se sobre a necessidade da capacitação
profissional sobre o processo da assistência psicoespiritual para a compreensão das
expressões religiosas, a ser viabilizada mediante o planejamento de estratégias de
intervenção, roda de discussão, palestras, implantação e implementação de espaço
físico apropriado para a prática individual da religiosidade nos ambientes hospitalares,
como medida de prevenção de conflitos e distúrbios de comportamento frente às
crianças hospitalizadas, tais como cenas de desespero, aflição, preces repetidas e
comportamentos similares, que possam provocar alterações significativas no quadro
clínico dos pacientes e acompanhantes.
