Malmös Östra sjukhusområde är i ett ombyggnadsskede till ett framtida perspektiv. Examensuppdraget är beställt av Stadsfastigheter Malmö i samband med områdets framtida planhandlingar att bestämma funktionen för ett av distriktets fastigheter. I nuläget är administrationsbyggnadens verksamheter inte fastställda än men enligt planhandligarna ska fastigheten ha en offentlig funktion. Husets verksamhet ska i första hand fokuseras på de boende i området men kan samtidigt fungera som en kommersiell funktion för den omgivande staden. Jag ser i samband med detta framtida möjligheter att ge byggnaden en betydande och offentlig roll där följande verksamheter kan skapas och utvecklas; ekologisk restaurang, ekologisk livsmedelsbutik, lekstuga för barn, aktivitetscenter för äldre och en utställning för områdets historik.Förslaget ska tillämpas i form av olika estetiska ritningar och tekniska beräkningar. Fastigheten är i behov av att på ett varsamt sätt ändras så att den blir tillgänglig för allmänheten på lika sätt, oberoende av rörelsehinder eller dylikt, samtidigt som byggnadens karaktär och historik bevaras. / Malmö Östra hospital area is in a rebuilding stage for the future. Student assignment is commissioned by the City Buildings Malmö in connection with the area's future plan documents to determine the function of the district's buildings. The current administration building activities are not set yet, but according to plan documents should the property have a public function. House activities are primarily focused on the residents of the area but can simultaneously function as a commercial operation of the surrounding city. I see in this future opportunities to give the building a significant and public role in which the following activities can be created and developed; organic restaurant, organic food store, playhouse for children, activity centers for the elderly and an exhibition for the region's history. The proposal will be implemented in the form of different aesthetic drawings and technical calculations. The property is in need of that in a prudent manner changed to make it available to the public in the same way, regardless of disabilities or the like, while the building's history and nature preserve.
