This thesis attempts to clarify connections between psychological aspects of student personality and the quality of responses in special music education. It focuses on three factors: abilities, temperament and motivation. It extends to the field of psychology, pedagogy and didactics. The aim of this work is to gain deeper understanding of psychological characteristics of students which manifest in instrumental music education and the work aspires to improve the quality of individual approach in the teaching process.
