This thesis focuses on contemporary choirs in Jindřichův Hradec. Nova Domus and Rosa Aurea belong among the most important children´s choirs. From the mixed choirs in Jindřichův Hradec YMCA - Jakoubek, Adam Michna´s church choir and Smetana choir with a long tradition are mentioned. There is described their history, concert activity and their educational use in the first level of basic school.
