Starting point: This thesis focuses on alcohol dependence and harmful alcohol use and their effect on person's relationship with other people. Objective: Main objective of my work is to describe a relationship of people addicted to alcohol or people harmfuly using an alcohol. Methods: Practical part of this thesis contained of quantitative research. As a source for this research I chose a method of collecting information using these questionnaires, Anamnesis questionnaire and ECR-RS questionnaire also known as Experience in Close Relationships. Results: The result of this work were data gathered in chart. This research shows a link between harmful use of alcohol or alcohol addiction and relational bond type. There was a domination of evasive type of relational bond in people addicted to alcohol or people harmfuly using an alcohol. In the researching sample there was more frequent occurence of anxiously evasive and evasive relational bond. Conclusion: Based on results of this research we can say, that there is a clear link between between relational bond type and dependency behaviour of people addicted to alcohol or its harmful use.
