Title: Aikido - connection of exercise to philosophy Objectives: The main objektive of this work is to highlight the interconnectedness of the philosophy of the Far East to the exercise of the martial art of aikido. In the first part of work the chapters are focused on a brief history of Japan with links to martial arts, aikido, theoretical background, philosophical systems and their assimilation in aikido. The second part focuses on the practical aspects of aikido and the introduction of techniques with a certain philosophical dimension.
