Este trabalho tem como objetivo o desenvolvimento de estratégias para a inserção da temática ambiental no currículo do ensino fundamental, de forma interdisciplinar, integrando os princípios da Ecoalfabetização como contribuição às ações e projetos de Educação Ambiental já em andamento na escola E. E. Prof. Florentina Martins Sanchez, Bairro do Perequê-Mirim, Ubatuba SP. O caminho metodológico desta pesquisa fundamenta-se nos princípios da pesquisa-ação, propiciando a interação dos alunos, professores e comunidade local, no desenvolvimento de atividades que levem os envolvidos a uma reflexão sobre os problemas ambientais e a necessidade da preservação dos recursos hídricos e naturais do seu lugar. As informações foram extraídas de questionários aplicados a 12 professores, dos diários de campo dos professores e alunos, de um diário de campo contendo registros de reuniões e das impressões do pesquisador em visitas a escola. Os dados dos questionários indicam que o tempo de magistério dos professores varia de 02 a 30 anos, sendo que 25% tem menos de 10 anos e a maioria (66,67%), tem entre 10 a 20 anos. Os professores relacionaram como os principais problemas ambientais do município: falta de saneamento básico, lixo e entulhos, poluição do ar, das águas e praias, desmatamento, bueiras abertas, galerias entupidas e erosão. Com relação aos resultados obtidos, os alunos e professores desenvolveram projetos dentro do contexto aprendizagem, ambiente regional e local. A prática da Educação Ambiental, incentivou os professores em projetos interdisciplinares, identificou e propôs intervenções no ambiente escolar, baseadas nos princípios do desenvolvimento sustentável. / This work has as objective the development of strategies for the thematic insertion of the ambient one in the curriculum of basic education, of form interdisciplinary, integrating the principles of the Ecological Alphabetization as contribution to the actions and projects of Ambient Education already in progress in school E. E. "Prof. Florentina Martins Sanchez", Quarter of the Perequê-Mirim, Ubatuba - SP. The methodological way of this research bases on the principles of the research-action, propitiating the interaction of the pupils, professors and local community, in the development of activities that take involved to reflection on the ambient problems and the necessity of the preservation of the hydro and natural resources of his place. The information had been extracted of questionnaires applied to 12 professors, of daily of field of the professors and the pupils and a daily one of field contend registers of meetings and the impressions of the researcher in visits the school. The data of the questionnaires indicate that the time of teaching of the professors varies of 02 to 30 years, being that 25% have less than 10 years and the majority (66,67%) has enters the 10 to 20 years. The professors had related as the main ambient problems of the city: lack of basic sanitation, garbage and rubbish, pollution of air, waters and beaches, deforestation, opened sewer, obstructed galleries and erosion. With relation to the gotten results, the pupils and professors had developed projects inside of the context learning, regional and local environment. The practical of the Ambient Education, stimulated the professors in interdisciplinary projects, identified and proposed interventions in the school environment, based in the principles of the sustainable development.
