Defesa : Curitiba, 02/03/2016 / Inclui referências : f. 92-98 / Resumo: A originalidade da teoria da inflação inercial não é um assunto consensual na academia brasileira, alguns autores sugerem que o inercialismo é um subproduto do estruturalismo latino-americano, portanto, sem ineditismo. O objetivo geral desta dissertação é investigar a possível associação entre as teorias da inflação inercialista e a do estruturalismo latino-americano da década de 1950, a partir de uma indissociável perspectiva histórica econômica. Para cumprir com este objetivo, contrastamos a teoria da inflação dos autores estruturalistas latino-americanos Juan Noyola, Osvaldo Sunkel e Celso Furtado com três versões do inercialismo de i- Francisco Lopes, ii- Luiz Carlos Bresser-Pereira e Yoshiaki Nakano, e iii- André Lara-Resende e Pérsio Arida. Os resultados obtidos confirmaram a compatibilidade teórica entre estas vertentes, mas não permitem afirmar com rigor que o inercialismo é um subproduto do estruturalismo. Assim, investigamos na literatura como se deu a constituição teórica do inercialismo, que não se mostrou unânime em relação ao segundo momento paradigmático. Enquanto Modenesi (2005) sugere que o modelo de realimentação inflacionária de Mário Henrique Simonsen foi o elo entre a literatura estruturalista latino-americana e o inercialismo, Bresser-Pereira e Nakano (1986) indicam, por outro lado, que isto se deve a Ignácio Rangel. Os resultados da dissertação sugerem que o inercialismo dos economistas da FGV-SP é um refinamento, em última instância, da literatura estruturalista com elementos teóricos de Ignácio Rangel. Contudo, após o estudo, oferecemos uma interpretação alternativa em relação a Modenesi (2005), pois concluímos que o inercialismo da PUC-RJ é inédito em relação aos estruturalistas latino-americanos. Conflito Distributivo. / Abstract: The origins of inertial inflation theory are not a consensus in the Brazilian Academy, as some authors suggest that inercialist theory is a product of Latin American structuralism. The overall objective of this thesis is to investigate the possible association between the theories of inertialist inflation and the Latin American structuralism of the 1950's from an inseparable economic historical perspective. The object of study is in a high level of abstraction and should be treated as in Brazilian Economic History's field thought. To fulfill this goal, we contrast the inflation theory of structuralist Latin American writers Juan Noyola, Osvaldo Sunkel and Celso Furtado with three versions of inercialist theory from Francisco Lopes, Luiz Carlos Bresser-Pereira and Yoshiaki Nakano, and André Lara-Resende & Persio Arida. The results confirmed the theoretical compatibility between these theories, but that does not mean with certainty that the inercialism is a byproduct of structuralism. Thus, we investigated in the literature as it gave the theoretical constitution of inercialism, which was not unanimous on the second paradigmatic moment, as Modenesi (2005) suggests that the model of inflationary feedback of Mario Henrique Simonsen was the link between latin american structuralist literature and inercialism. Bresser-Pereira and Nakano (1986) indicate, however, that this is due to Ignacio Rangel's influence. In advance, this dissertation results suggest that inercialist economists from FGV-SP are a refinement product of the structuralist literature, with theoretical elements of Ignacio Rangel. However, we disagree with Modenesi (2005), as we conclude that the inercialism of PUC-RJ is unprecedented in relation to latin american structuralists. Keywords: Structuralism. Inertial Inflation.
