Previous issue date: 2015 / Esta tese se propõe a examinar a fundação da linguística moderna por Ferdinand de Saussure (1857-1913) através de um olhar teórico foucauldiano. As perguntas de pesquisa que norteiam a presente tese são: 1 Quais são as táticas de poder utilizadas para o discurso Saussureano ser considerado o fundador da linguística no século XX? 2 Quais são os procedimentos de controle discursivo que cristalizam a fala de Saussure como fundamental para o surgimento do linguista moderno? 3 Através de que modos de subjetivação, o poder-saber constituirá o linguista moderno? O percurso para se responder a tais perguntas passa por uma revisão teórica dos trabalhos de Michel Foucault. Os conceitos de poder, saber e subjetividade são o guia através do qual as respostas são elaboradas. O poder acadêmico, o saber científico e as epistemologias, com especial atenção para o estruturalismo, são os delineamentos que servem de reflexão para a constituição da subjetividade do linguista moderno. A (falta de) parresía é, de acordo com a presente análise, a pedra angular que sustenta a compreensão do linguista como O cientista da linguagem em nosso tempo. A forma como o linguista constrói as verdades científicas sobre a língua pode ser melhor compreendida quando linguistas do tempo presente respondem a perguntas como: a linguística é ciência? Para que serve a linguística? E o que é linguística? Perguntas que, mutatis mutandis, estavam no cerne da reflexão Saussureana pouco mais de um século atrás. Refletir sobre a construção da subjetividade do linguista como um produto do poder acadêmico, inserido no viés de um saber científico é o objetivo primaz do presente trabalho que se articula como uma análise discursiva fundamentada nos princípios estabelecidos por Michel Foucault. <br> / Abstract : This dissertation proposes to examine the foundation of modern linguistics by Ferdinand de Saussure (1857-1913) through a theoretical foucauldian look. The research questions which guide this dissertation are: 1 What are the tactics of power used to Saussurean discourse be considered the founder of linguistics in the twentieth century? 2 What are the procedures of discursive control which crystallize Saussure s speech as fundamental to the arise of the modern linguist? 3 Through what modes of subjectivity, the power-knowledge constitute the modern linguist? The route to answer these questions runs through a theoretical review of the work of Michel Foucault. The concepts of power, knowledge and subjectivity are the guide by which the answers are made. The academic power, scientific knowledge and epistemologies, with particular attention to structuralism, are the designs used for reflection for the constitution of subjectivity of the modern linguist. The (lack of) parresia is, according to this analysis, the cornerstone which supports the understanding of the linguist as The scientist of language in our time. The way how linguist builds scientific truths about language can be better understood when the present time linguists answer questions such as: is linguistics science? What is linguistics for? What is linguistics? Questions which, mutatis mutandis, were at the heart of Saussurean reflection over a century ago. Reflecting on the construction of subjectivity of the linguist as a product of academic power, inserted in a scientific knowledge bias is the primary objective of this work which is articulated as a discursive analysis based on the principles established by Michel Foucault.
