The following essay is an informative such, with the focus of the collaboration between social resources, in the life of teenagers diagnosed with ADHD. Keeping the child’s best interest at heart, I analyzed how these collaborations are structured today. Thereafter I continued to investigate how one could channel the resources towards the non-normative issues of the diagnoses and if there are any possibilities to reinforce this work to prevent this kind of behaviour before it escalates into a criminal living. Through semi-structured interviews with the separate initiatives available for these youths, I could then analyze how these resources can merge towards a more long-term solution based on a social safety net. While doing this I emanated foremost from the theory of Aaron Antonovsky, which is Sense of coherence. I also used the more psychological attachment theory in order to get a more unitary view of the teenager.
