2011_CláudiaMariaMirandaAlencarRocha.pdf: 4064579 bytes, checksum: 68c686cbd315e7497e59fbadf251f240 (MD5) / Tendo como ponto de partida a reduzida aplicação do aço em composições arquitetônicas de grande expressividade no Brasil, esta pesquisa percorre a evolução histórica do ferro e do ensino da arquitetura nacional e internacional. Tornando perceptíveis as várias possibilidades do ferro/aço e contribuindo para o entendimento sobre as limitações do seu uso, a pesquisa busca em contrapartida aprofundar a leitura das grades curriculares, das ementas e do resultado dos egressos, através do concurso Ópera Prima, de forma a compreender como acontece o aprendizado das estruturas, da tecnologia e do projeto, nas escolas de arquitetura. Coaduna informações sobre os trabalhos de profissionais experientes, verificando a utilização dos sistemas metálicos, quando o fazem, e de onde vem o conhecimento. O resultado corrobora com o entendimento que as escolas devem mudar seu processo didático-pedagógico para garantir eficiência no aprendizado do profissional arquiteto que deve, acima de tudo, ser capaz de resolver coerentemente os aspectos funcionais, estéticos e tecnológicos dos edifícios. Contribuindo para evolução e aperfeiçoamento do ensino da arquitetura com aço, a pesquisa propõe uma reformulação de programas, estabelecendo a correlação direta entre os conteúdos e integralizando as disciplinas de projeto e tecnologia. Proporcionando assim a visão conceitual das estruturas, priorizando o cálculo, para que desta maneira o aluno não o utilize mecanicamente, e sim, o entenda como forma de calibrar o conhecimento. _________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / Taking as a starting point the reduced application of steel in compositions architectural of great expressiveness in Brazil, this research analyses the historical evolution of iron and the teaching of national and international architecture. Becoming visible the several possibilities of iron/steel and contributing to the understanding of the limitations of their use. However, the research tries to go further with the understanding of the curriculum frameworks, the ementa and the results of the newly graduates, by the Opera Prime contest, in order to understand how the learning structures happen , the technology and the project in architecture schools. Gather information about experienced professionals’ works, verifying the use of metallic systems, when they do it , and where the knowledge comes. The results corroborate with the understanding of that the schools should change their Pedagogical-didactic process to ensure efficiency in learning the professional architect that must above all be able to solve coherently the functional, aesthetic and technological aspects of the buildings. Contributing to the development and improvement of the architectural teaching with steel, the research proposes a reformulation of the programs, establishing a direct correlation between the contents and integrating the subjects of design and technology. Thus providing a conceptual view of the structures, prioritizing the calculation, so this way the students do not use it mechanically, but they can understand it as a way to fit the knowledge.
