study of the works of architect Telésforo Cristófani (1929-2002)
departing from its recognition as a responsible professional with a
group of talented architects of São Paulo, for a major overhaul in
the architectural scene in the decades of 1960-1980.
The study from the base established in previous studies,
taking advantage of the collection is organized by the documental
research Architects of São Paulo, ideas and works: Telésforo
Cristófani (1929-2002) prepared by the researchers Ana Gabriela
Godinho Lima, Cecília Rodrigues dos Santos and Ruth Verde Zein
(2006) and will work to its completion and interpretation. This
research Will focus on the exploration of conceptual relationships in
the work of the architect Telésforo Cristófani, among the subjects of
composition and construction techniques relating papers for indepth
study about design strategies seeking to identify and analyze
the relationships between the compositional results ans constructive
ways selected employees.
This master propose to build the analytical tools based on
the theories of the nineteenth century German theorist Gottfried
Semper, and of theorists of the twentieth century, the English theorit
Kenneth Frampton and the Spanish theorist Jesús Maria Aparício
Guisado, than with the excellence of this studies have helped us to
choose focal lenses through which we wish to look like the selected
works and examine them under the terms of construction and
architectural composition, looking for more conceptual basis to
qualified instrument to analyse the original project designed by
architect Telésforo Cristófani, its implementation, the starting point
adopted, program, construction processes, materials chosen and
the intentions underlying each plastic revealed in their work and
formal results. / Este trabalho propõe a continuação e aprofundamento do
estudo das obras do arquiteto paulista Telésforo Cristófani (1929-
2002) partindo do seu reconhecimento profissional como
responsável juntamente com um grupo de talentosos arquitetos
paulistas, por uma importante renovação no cenário arquitetônico
paulista nas décadas de 1960-1980.
O estudo partirá da base estabelecida em trabalhos
anteriores, aproveitando o acervo organizado pela pesquisa
documental Arquitetos Paulistas, ideias e obras: Telésforo
Cristófani (1929-2002) elaborado pelas pesquisadoras Ana
Gabriela Godinho Lima, Cecília Rodrigues dos Santos e Ruth Verde
Zein (2006) e trabalhará na sua complementação e interpretação. A
presente pesquisa terá como foco conceitual a exploração das
relações existentes na obra do arquiteto Telésforo Cristófani, entre
os temas da composição e técnicas construtivas relacionando
algumas obras para estudo aprofundado, buscando identificar
estratégias projetuais e analisar as relações entre os resultados
compositivos e os meios construtivos escolhidos empregados.
Nesta dissertação propomos construir os instrumentos de
análise com base nas teorias do teórico alemão do século XIX
Gottfried Semper, e dos teóricos do século XX, o inglês Kenneth
Frampton e o espanhol Jesús Maria Aparício Guisado, que com a
excelência de seus estudos nos ajudaram a escolher as lentes
focais pelas quais desejamos olhar as obras selecionadas e assim
analisá-las sob o ponto de vista da construção e da composição
arquitetônica, buscando obter uma base conceitual mais qualificada
que instrumente a análise do projeto original elaborado pelo
arquiteto Telésforo Cristófani, sua implantação, o partido
arquitetônico adotado, o programa, os processos construtivos, os
materiais escolhidos e as intenções plásticas implícitas em cada
obra e reveladas em seus resultados formais.
