_________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This paper attempts to find, within contemporary Brazilian art, the relationship between the rise of constructive artistic ideologies and the deviations suffered by the modern assumptions associated to the developmental program of the 50s and 60s. The work of Rivane Neuenschwander, from Minas Gerais and of Marepe, Marcos Reis Peixoto from Bahia, are analyzed as a continuity of the constructive project initiated in Brazil in the 50, under the light the post-1964 Hélio Oiticica s work and his programmatic propositions for art.
