El presente trabajo plantea como objetivo principal el desarrollo proyectual de un centro dirigido al adulto mayor que cubra sus necesidades básicas tales como vivienda, alimentación, recreación y salud. El proyecto parte con el objetivo de concientizar a la sociedad sobre este grupo etario fomentando así, el intercambio cultural.
La investigación comprende también el estudio de las características psicofísicas del usuario que marcarán la pauta del programa, áreas y zonificación en el diseño del proyecto. Así mismo, el área verde juega un rol importante para la configuración del proyecto donde el uso de ellas predomina, no solo actuando como visual y dando continuidad a los espacios sino que en ella se puedan desarrollan diversas actividades. / The main objective of this study is the development of a center directed to the elderly that covers their basic needs such as housing, food, recreation and health. The project starts with the aim of making society aware of this age group, thus promoting cultural exchange.
The research also includes the study of the psychophysical characteristics of the user that will mark the pattern of the program, areas and zoning in the design of the project. Likewise, the green area plays an important role for the configuration of the project where the use of them predominates, not only acting as a visual and giving continuity to the spaces but in it can develop various activities.
