Diferentemente de outras unidades da federação, em que a reconstrução do sindicalismo docente já acontece há anos, esse estado brasileiro ainda requer estudos que possibilitem o
avanço do conhecimento neste campo. A pesquisa tem como principais objetivos: reconstruir os processos pelos quais se organizou o magistério maranhense, inicialmente, sob a forma associativa e, posteriormente, na forma sindical, até alcançar o grau de consolidação que a
organização exibe nos dias atuais; identificar as organizações de trabalhadores docentes que se formaram ao longo da história da educação maranhense, sua natureza e as razões que conduziram a uma pluralidade de entidades; analisar o associativismo e o sindicalismo
enquanto formas de resistência e de ação pró-ativa dos trabalhadores docentes no Maranhão; relacionar o contexto histórico e político com a emergência do associativismo e do sindicalismo do magistério; levantar as principais lutas do magistério maranhense e periodizar sua evolução, bem como analisar as condições atuais do sindicalismo docente maranhense. As condições
objetivas e subjetivas de emergência do associativismo docente no Maranhão são condições estruturais que possibilitam o surgimento de associações e sindicatos docentes. O número e a densidade de professores permitiram as trocas de experiências sobre as questões inerentes à profissão, mas que só tiveram efeito a partir da construção de um projeto político que deu vazão às percepções coletivas do mundo do trabalho. Tal realidade não termina em si, mas deve constituir-se para si. A análise do desenvolvimento histórico do associativismo e sindicalismo maranhense demonstra que estes se configuraram em entidades que possuíam o intento de representar todo o professorado (Associação Pedagógica Almir Nina e Departamento maranhense da ABE) e, posteriormente, emergem as formas fragmentadas de representação
(Associação de Professoras Normalistas do Maranhão, Sinterp, Sinproesemma e SINDEDUCAÇÃO). A legislação cunhada no regime militar foi responsável por produzir a fragmentação entre os professores públicos e os da rede particular, uma vez que era proibido aos primeiros se organizar sindicalmente e constituir um sindicato único para todo o magistério de sua região geográfica. Em suma, o associativismo e o sindicalismo docente no Maranhão se
desenvolveram em uma sociedade cujo grau de controle se mantinha fortemente ativo e não era possível erigir entidades de defesa de interesses laborais sem fazer mediações com o poder político local. ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This thesis is an investigation on the associativismo and the educational syndicalism in Maranhão. Differently of other units of the federation, in that the reconstruction of the educational syndicalism already happens there are years, that Brazilian state still requests studies that make possible the progress of the knowledge in this field. The research has as main objectives: to rebuild the processes initially for the which it was organized the teaching from
Maranhão, under the associative form and, later, in the syndical form, until reaching the consolidation degree that the organization exhibits in the current days; to identify the educational workers' organizations that were formed along the history of the education from
Maranhão, its nature and the reasons that drove it a plurality of entities; to analyze the associativism and the syndicalism while resistance forms and of the educational workers' action for-active in Maranhão; to relate the historical and political context with the emergency of the
associativism and of the syndicalism of the teaching; to lift the main fights of the teaching from Maranhão and to establish the chronology of its evolution, as well as to analyze the current
conditions of the from Maranhão educational syndicalism. The objective and subjective conditions of emergency of the educational associativismo in Maranhão are structural conditions that make possible the appearance of associations and educational unions. The
number and the teachers' density allowed the changes of experiences on the inherent subjects to the profession, but that only had effect starting from the construction of a political project that gave flow to the collective perceptions of the world of the work. Such reality doesn't finish in
itself, but it should be constituted for itself. The analysis of the historical development of the
associativismo and syndicalism from Maranhão demonstrates that these they were configured in entities that possessed the project of representing the whole faculty (Pedagogic Association Almir Nina and Department from Maranhão of ABE) and, later, the fragmented forms of
representation (Association of Normalites Teachers of Maranhão, Sinterp, Sinproesemma and SINDEDUCAÇÃO) emerge. The legislation coined in the military regime was responsible for producing the fragmentation between the public teachers and the one of the private net, once it was prohibited to the first ones to organize in the form syndical and to constitute an unique
union for the whole teaching of its geographical area. In short, the associativism and the educational syndicalism in Maranhão grew in a society whose control degree if it maintained assets strongly and it was not possible to erect entities of defense of interests work without
doing mediations with the local political power. ______________________________________________________________________________ RÉSUMÉ / Cette thèse est une enquête sur l'associativismo et le syndicalisme pédagogique à Maranhão. Différemment d'autres unités de la fédération, dans que la reconstruction du syndicalisme
pédagogique se passe déjà il y a années, que l'état brésilien demande encore des études qui font possibles le progrès de la connaissance dans ce champ. La recherche a comme objectifs principaux: reconstruire initialement les processus pour le lequel elle a été organisé
l'enseignement de Maranhão, sous la forme associative et, plus tard, dans la forme syndicale, jusqu'à atteindre le degré de la consolidation que l'organisation expose dans le courant jours; identifier les organisations des ouvriers pédagogiques qui ont été formées le long de l'histoire de l'éducation de Maranhão, sa nature et les raisons qui l'ont conduite une pluralité d'entités; analyser l'associationnisme et le syndicalisme pendant que la résistance forme et de l'action des
ouvriers pédagogiques pour-actif à Maranhão; raconter le contexte historique et politique avec l'urgence de l' associationnisme et du syndicalisme de l'enseignement; pour soulever les bagarres principales de l'enseignement de Maranhão et établir la chronologie de son évolution, aussi bien qu'analyser les conditions courantes du de Maranhão syndicalisme pédagogique. Les
conditions objectives et subjectives d'urgence de l'associationnisme pédagogique à Maranhão sont des conditions structurelles qui font possibles apparence d'associations et unions pédagogiques. Le nombre et la densité des professeurs ont autorisé les changements d'expériences sur les sujets inhérents à la profession, mais cela avait seulement effet qui

possédé le projet de représenter la faculté entière (Association Pédagogique Almir Nina et Département de Maranhão d'ABE) et, plus tard, les formes fragmentées de représentation
(Association de Professeurs Normalistes de Maranhão, Sinterp, Sinproesemma et SINDEDUCAÇÃO) émergent. La législation inventée dans le régime militaire était responsable pour produire la fragmentation entre les professeurs publics et celui du filet privé,
une fois il a été interdit aux premiers si ils organisent syndicalement et ils constituent une seule union pour l'enseignement entier de sa région géographique. Dans court, l'associationnisme et le syndicalisme pédagogique à Maranhão ont grandi dans une société dont degré du contrôle s'il avait maintenu des fonds fortement et ce n'était pas possible d'élever des entités de défense de travail des intérêts sans faire des médiations avec le pouvoir politique local.
