Previous issue date: 2011-06-21 / O presente trabalho objetiva compreender como as Ci?ncias Sociais na Am?rica Latina se apresentam diante do surgimento, d?cada de 2000, de novos governos, sejam de esquerda, centro-esquerda ou progressistas, mas que apresentam uma agenda pol?tica p?s-neoliberal. Para tanto, trabalhar? com a hip?tese de influ?ncia da chamada Doutrina Kirkpatrick no pensamento hegem?nico que aponta para a exist?ncia de dois tipos de esquerda no continente. Por fim, procura apresentar elementos que apontam para uma an?lise critica desta categoriza??o dicot?mica e manique?sta. / This thesis aims to understand how the social sciences in Latin America are shown in front of the emergence in this decade, from new governments, whether left, center-left or progressives, non-conservatives, but showing a post-neoliberal political theme. This works on the assumption of influence called Kirkpatrick Doctrine in the dominant thinking that points to the existence of two types of left on the continent. Finally, seeks to provide elements for a critical analysis of this dichotomic categorization and manichaean.
