Previous issue date: 2013 / A presente dissertação tem como objetivo analisar o pensamento econômico de Celso Furtado e Roberto Campos e suas respectivas visões sobre a crise econômica que nossa economia sofreu no começo dos anos 1960. A crise dos anos 1960 foi a primeira grande crise econômica sofrida pelo país enquanto economia subdesenvolvida industrial madura e dependente. Celso Furtado e Roberto Campos são dois dos grandes intelectuais brasileiros que se debruçam sobre o tema visando extrair o melhor diagnóstico da crise e a melhor maneira de sair dela. A presente dissertação começa com uma pequena elaboração do conceito de desenvolvimento econômico tirado de autores como Paul Singer e Esther Kuperman e, como contraponto a essa visão, temos o professor Bresser Pereira. Nos dois capítulos seguintes temos a análise de Celso Furtado e Roberto Campos sobre a crise dos anos 1960. Os dois intelectuais são vistos aqui como desenvolvimentistas. Procuramos dar ênfase inicialmente às visões dos respectivos intelectuais na importância do Estado e do capital estrangeiro no desenvolvimento econômico interno e a partir disso analisar a visão de cada um sobre a crise econômica dos anos 1960. / This thesis aims to analyze the economic thought of Celso Furtado and Roberto Campos and their respective views about the economic crisis that our economy has suffered in the early 1960s. The crisis of the 1960s was the first major economic crisis suffered by the country as a mature industrial economy underdeveloped and dependent. Celso Furtado and Roberto Campos are two of the major Brazilian intellectuals who focus on the subject in order to get the best diagnosis of the crisis and the best way out of it. This thesis begins with a small elaboration of the concept of economic development taken from authors such as Paul Singer and Esther Kuperman and as a counterpoint to that vision we have Professor Bresser Pereira. In the next two chapters we have the analysis of Celso Furtado and Roberto Campos on the crisis of the 1960s. The two are seen here as intellectual developmental. We try to give emphasis initially on the visions of their intellectual importance in the state and foreign capital in domestic economic development and from there analyze the vision of each of the economic crisis of the 1960s.
