The scope of this work consists mainly in the continuation of the work already begun by P.J. Harris entitled "The Analysis of Axially Symmetric Spherical Shells by Means of Finite Differences". The purpose is to analyse the influence of various boundary conditions at the apex of the shell, particularly that of a lantern ring at the top, but otherwise under the same restrictions as the previous work.
