This dissertation focuses on the transport properties of the high-temperature superconductor LSCO in high magnetic fields, particularly the longitudinal magnetoresistance around optimum doping. In this region of the phase diagram the longitudinal magnetoresistance appears to exhibit non-Fermi liquid magnetoresisitance.
