En este trabajo, proponemos un modelo de análisis del español americano centrado en su contacto con otros idiomas y culturas que coexistieron en el llamado “Nuevo Mundo”. Para la elaboración de este modelo nos centramos en elementos sociolingüísticos y semióticos, en especial el dialogismo de Mikhail Bakhtin y sus conceptos de utterance, cronotopo y alteridad.Palabras clave: contacto lingüístico, dialogismo, indianización, teoría de la alteridad AbstractIn this article we propose a model to analyze the spanish language and culture in the Americas that focuses on language and cultural contact as they coexisted in the New World since earlier times.
