Odvetvové prostredie spracovania ovčích produktov

The diploma thesis on "Sectoral environment of processing sheep products" is applied on the Slovakian market. In the thesis, there is elaborated a detailed analysis of this sector from the perspective of structure, strategy and rivalry, demand conditions, related and supportive sectors as well as from the condition factors. Based on this analysis, opportunities and threats following with recommendations for the companies operating in the industry of processing sheep products are formulated. Among all, in the recommendations part it is suggested that the companies should export the surpluses to the Czech and Polish market. To ensure an increased demand, an intensive and well-targeted promotion, both in Slovakia and abroad is essential. This would also enhance the stagnating production of traditional Slovakian sheep cheeses. Furthermore it is important to expand production of high probiotic value products, restore meat production and secure new distribution channels.
