O fenômeno do lugar urbano é um tema intimamente relacionado a um espaço físico, este que, por consequência, é concebido aprioristicamente por arquitetos e urbanistas. Partindo do princípio que a principal ferramenta dos arquitetos para a conformação de espaços físicos é o projeto, a compreensão das relações que ocorrem entre o espaço e as pessoas que o utilizam se mostra de extrema importância para a formatação de projetos que objetivam criar espaços mais justos e socialmente ativos. Essa dissertação busca promover a discussão do projeto de lugar, analisando o lugar a partir de elementos que possam ser reproduzidos como estratégias de projeto, ou seja, a análise de aspectos da configuração do espaço que contribuem para torna-lo mais atrativo para as pessoas. Para essa tarefa, após uma revisão teórica de conceitos oriundos do campo de conhecimento do Desenho Urbano, será apresentada a análise de um lugar paradigmático nos dias atuais: Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Com isso, a pesquisa objetiva obter uma análise apurada sobre um referencial de lugar que contribua para o estudo do projeto de lugar. / The urban place phenomenon is a subject closely related to a physical space, which is, a priori, designed by architects and urbanists. Assuming that the main tool of the architects for the creation of physical space is the project, understanding the relationships that occur between the space and the people who use it seems very important for the design of projects that aim to create socially active and fairer spaces. This dissertation seeks to promote discussion regarding the project of place, analyzing the place through elements that can be used as design strategies, in other words, the analysis of aspects of the space setting that contribute to make it more attractive to people. For this task, after a theoretical review of concepts derived from the Urban Design, it will be presented the analysis of a paradigmatic place in the present day: Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Thus, the research aims to obtain an accurate analysis of an exemplary place which will contribute to the study of place project.
