A realização da pesquisa foi motivada pela ausência de definição de procedimentos práticos para a transformação do conhecimento tácito dos trabalhadores das empresas da IEEB em explícito como importante coadjuvante no processo de reestruturação de um ambiente pouco explorado. Trata-se de uma pesquisa ação, exploratória, descritiva e explicativa, com abordagem qualitativa. Os dados foram coletados através de análise documental e observação em equipe. Foi realizada uma pesquisa sobre os principais modelos de reestruturação da IEE no mundo e no Brasil como base para a reestruturação de suas indústrias do setor elétrico. Conclui-se com base no arcabouço teórico e da análise do processo de reestruturação das IEEs no mundo e especialmente no Brasil, que além dos fatores extrínsecos à organização como o aumento da competitividade, através da concorrência regulamentada, melhoria das condições de oferta, fomento ao crescimento econômico que formaram a principal diretriz de reestruturação existe ainda um importante fator intrínseco baseado no conhecimento organizacional e individual que poderá agregar valor às mudanças, diminuindo assim os riscos de fracassos dos modelos.
The present research was carried through in a company of the Brazilian electric Industry with the objective to describe the main structural and institucional experiences of reorganization of the industry of the electric sector in Brazil and the world, through the construction of procedures for the elaboration of a model of reorganization of the IEEB based on the tacit collaborators knowledge. The accomplishment of the research was motivated by the absence of definition of practical procedures for the transformation of the tacit knowledge of the social actors of the IEEB in explicit as important coadjuvante in the process of reorganization of an environment little explored. One is about a exploratory, descriptive and explanatory research, with qualitative boarding. The data had been collected through documentary analysis and comment in team. A research on the main models of reorganization of the IEE in the world and Brazil was carried through as base for the reorganization of its industries of the electric sector. The outlines is concluded on the basis of theoretician and of the analysis of the process of reorganization of the IEEs in the world and especially in Brazil, that beyond the extrinsic factors to the organization as the increase of the competitiveness, through the regulated competition, improvement of the conditions of offers, foments to the economic growth that they had formed the main line of direction of reorganization still exists an important intrinsic factor based in the organizacional and individual knowledge that it will be able to add value the changes, thus diminishing the risks of failures of the models.
