Orientador: Francisco Luiz Corsi / Banca: Adilson Marques Genari / Banca: Giovanni Alves / Resumo: A partir de meados dos anos 2000, diversos setores da sociedade brasileira, desde trabalhadores a intelectuais do campo político e econômico se viram esperançosos com a ascensão à presidência por parte de Lula. Não obstante, apesar da manutenção da política macroeconômica no início de seu mandato, o governo petista é marcado por duas características à primeira vista positivas: o crescimento econômico e o avanço de políticas sociais de combate à pobreza que transformaram grande parte da realidade da ―sobrepopulação superempobrecida‖ do Brasil. Este segundo fenômeno deu margem para um grupo de intelectuais formularem a tese de que o Brasil estaria em um processo de ascensão ao ―desenvolvimentismo social‖, ou em um regime social-desenvolvimentista. Por outro lado, os governos petistas muito pouco se assemelhavam ao desenvolvimentismo clássico, tanto em estratégia quanto em resultados. Diante destas contradições faz-se necessária uma análise das diversas interpretações acerca do governo Lula, bem como da transição do regime desenvolvimentista para o neoliberal e seu significado. Inicialmente será feita uma contextualização do que foi o desenvolvimentismo clássico, sua crise e substituição pelo regime neoliberal. Posteriormente, exporemos as diversas interpretações acerca do governo Lula, iniciando pela tese ―social-desenvolvimentista‖, subsequente será apresentada a crítica dentro do próprio campo desenvolvimentista, com a corrente ―novo-desenvolvimentista‖ e por fim, algumas apr... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Since the mid-2000s, various sectors of Brazilian society, ranging from workers to intellectuals from the political and economic field, have been hopeful of Lula's rise to the presidency. Nevertheless, despite the maintenance of macroeconomic policy at the beginning of its mandate, the PT government is marked by two prima facie characteristics: economic growth and the advancement of social policies to combat poverty that have transformed much of the reality of "overpopulation Superbreathing "of Brazil. This second phenomenon gave room for a group of intellectuals to formulate the thesis that Brazil would be in a process of ascension to "social developmentalism", or in a social-developmental regime.
