Previous issue date: 2006 / Resumo: Neste trabalho buscamos entender a separação feita por O.Ducrot, em sua teoria sobre a argumentação na língua, entre a poesia e a argumentação. Partindo da hipótese de que, para ele, esta separação está posta na maneira como o discurso se apresenta frente a relação da língua com a enunciação, percorremos toda a teoria sobre a língua desenvolvida por ele. Em seguida aplicamos o modelo de análise semântico-argumentativa desenvolvida por Ducrot em um enunciado retirado de um poema e em um enunciado de um não-poema, para verificar a aplicabilidade do modelo em diferentes enunciados. Depois, analisamos a palavra poesia em dois textos ducrotianos, sob a perspectiva da Semântica do Acontecimento e, por último, debatemos o modo como a poesia se relaciona com as noções de língua, enunciação, frase e enunciado, texto e discurso. Após percorrer este percurso, apresentamos os resultados a que chegamos e, além disso, levantamos algumas questões a serem trabalhadas posteriormente / Abstract: In this research, we seek to understand the division made by O. Ducrot in his theory on the language's argument, between poetry and argument. Starting from the hypothesis that, for him, the division resides in the way the speech presents itself when it comes to the relationship of language and enunciation, we go through the whole theory he developed on the language. Following, we apply the semantic-argumentative analysis developed by Ducrot in an enunciation removed from a poem and in a non-poem's enunciation, to verify the 's applicability in different enunciations.
Then, we analyze the word ¨poetry¨ in two ducrotian texts, under the perspective of the Happening Semantics and, last, we delate the way poetry conects with the language's notions, enunciation, phrase and enunciation, text and speech. After going through that whole path, we present the results we got, and besides, we raise a few questions to be worked afterwards / Mestrado / Mestre em Linguística
