Title: Syntactic specialities of stretched verb s in the german journalism Summary: This work interprets the meaning and use of stretched verb constructions. Every element of this construction is described. The practical part analyses the use of these verbs in newspapers. It shows that their use depends on the newspaper and even on the region.
