Previous issue date: 2016-08-25 / The research developed from the Graduate Diploma in Consumer Program, Daily Life and Social Development with a doctor and a Reference Center psychologist for Child Care, Adolescents and Their Families in Situations of Violence, and mother of a child victim sexual abuse, sought to answer the following question: what factors influence the sexual abuse of a child victim's mother attitude practiced by father or stepfather report or silence before the revelation of the crime? With this question, it elaborated the general objective for this research to analyze the reasons that lead to termination or silencing by the progenitors of children or adolescents, female victims of sexual violence committed in the family environment, the father or stepfather. The specific objectives, in turn, were prepared in order to seek to define the institutional flow driven by cases of sexual violence in Recife and RMR; Identify and discuss the possible determinants, with emphasis on the role of the family economy, for decisions - report or not - women after learning of the sexual violence committed by their partners against his / her son / daughter. To achieve these objectives we carried out a qualitative study with semi-structured interview with a doctor, a psychologist and mother of a child victim. Processing of the data was processed through the analysis of the responses, confronting them with the crafted literature. The results show that there are economic factors, combined with other affective factors and asymmetrical power relations between gender and generations, which are decisive mother's attitude, and that the protection network has bottlenecks that compromise its objectives institutional. / A pesquisa desenvolvida a partir do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Consumo, Cotidiano e Desenvolvimento Social com uma médica e um psicólogo do Centro de Referência para o Cuidado de Crianças, Adolescentes e suas Famílias em Situação de Violência, e uma mãe de criança vítima de abuso sexual, buscou responder o seguinte questionamento: quais os fatores que influenciam a atitude de mãe de criança vítima de abuso sexual praticado por pai ou padrasto a denunciar ou silenciar diante da revelação do crime? Com essa indagação, elaborou-se como objetivo geral para esta pesquisa analisar as razões que levam a denúncia ou silenciamento por parte das genitoras de crianças ou adolescentes, do sexo feminino, vitimas de violência sexual, cometida no ambiente intrafamiliar, pelo pai ou padrasto. Os objetivos específicos, por sua vez, foram elaborados com o intuito de buscar delimitar o fluxo institucional percorrido pelos casos de violência sexual em Recife e RMR; Identificar e discutir os possíveis determinantes, com ênfase para o papel da economia familiar, em relação as decisões – denunciar ou não – das mulheres após tomar conhecimento da violência sexual cometida pelo companheiro contra seu/sua filho/a. Para o alcance destes objetivos foi realizado um estudo qualitativo com a entrevista semi-estruturada realizada com uma médica, um psicólogo e uma mãe de criança vítima. O tratamento dos dados processou-se através da análise das respostas dadas, confrontando-as com a literatura trabalhada. Os resultados apontam que há fatores econômicos, aliados a outros fatores de ordem afetiva e de relações assimétricas de poder entre os gênero e as gerações, que são determinantes da atitude da mãe, e que a rede de proteção apresenta pontos de estrangulamento que comprometem seus objetivos institucionais.
