Previous issue date: 2010 / Abstract: Inside the investigational context on the expositive method of Karl Marx's The Capital, this dissertation looks foward to pointing out directions to a better comprehension of the method of abstraction operated on this work. A long discussed thematic on the Marxist literature, the method of abstraction is of fundamental importance for comprehending the dialectics on his critique of the political economy. To establish the position the abstraction aquires in the arquitetonic of The Capital, we elaborated a dialogue with the Hegelian logic as it appears on his Encyclopedia of the Philosophical Sciences. By this, we pursued to solve our problematic with a conjunctural analysis of the dialectical passages: abstract-concrete, essence-apearence, possibility-efectivity as it apears on Hegel. On this reading key, we scrutinized the main categories Marx offers us on the Third Book of The Capital, weaving its dialectical unity with the two former books of the same work. This done, we seek to defend the thesis that the abstraction consists on positioning the logical conditions of possibility in the categorial development of The Capital, remaking the system's internal determinacional movement in its concrete reality. / Mestrado / Filosofia / Mestre em Filosofia
