The present work is a case study whose objective is to analyze educational practices developed in the field of non formal education, into productive groups of rural women who belong the Xique Xique Network of Marketing, supported by the Network of Solidary and Feminist Economy. This project was executed nationally in nine states of Brazil and in Rio Grande do Norte it supported fifteen women's groups, located in the territories of Mato Grande and A??-Mossor?, in the municipalities of S?o Miguel do Gostoso, Mossor?, Grossos, Tibau and Bara?nas. The research aims to verify if the participation of women in the formative processes can help to the construction and development of their economic and political autonomy and the appropriation of the condition of agent in the spaces where they are included. The theoretical discussion is better-found in the categories of non-formal education, solidarity economy, networks and development as freedom based on the reflections made by Coombs, Trilla, Gohn, Paul Singer, Euclides Mance and Amartya Sen, respectively. For data collection, there were eleven individual interviews with the women of the groups, including two leaders, an interview with the local coordinator of the agrochemical nucleus of the Xique Xique Network of S?o Miguel do Gostoso and an interview with a collaborating technique of the Network Xique Xique. In addition to the interviews were carried out visits to the production groups, visits fairs, participation in meetings, seminars, workshops promoted by the Xique Xique Network or partner institutions. Bibliographical and documentary research was also used. The interviews were transcribed and categorized according to the presented objectives to analyze the data. The research demonstrated that based on the learning generated in the experiences, women can build and value their freedom, creating forms of mutual support and strengthening among them, underscored the importance of access to information and knowledge that allows them to establish new parameters in their social relations, as well as discovering themselves / taken on themselves as subjects of their own stories.
