Previous issue date: 2011 / Esta pesquisa tem como perspectiva inserir a Educacao Alimentar e Nutricional no Curriculo Escolar. No ambiente escolar o professor e aliado potencial na construcao de conhecimentos sobre temas relativos a Seguranca Alimentar e Nutricional. O objetivo deste estudo e diagnosticar as concepcoes e competencias dos professores e o papel social da escola no que tange a Educacao Alimentar e Nutricional tendo em vista subsidiar a construcao de um programa de Educacao Continuada, em atencao aos preceitos da Lei nº 11.947/2009. Trata-se de pesquisa qualitativa realizada em tres escolas de Ensino Fundamental do Distrito Federal. Para coleta de dados foram utilizadas duas estrategias: a analise documental e entrevistas semiestruturadas. Sobre os dados coletados foi realizada analise tematica. As unidades de significado foram selecionadas em funcao dos objetivos especificos. Para efeito da analise documental, foram utilizados os Projetos Politico-Pedagogicos de tres escolas e entrevistas semi-estruturadas. Foi possivel inferir que ha intencao dos professores em desenvolver o ensino de forma a possibilitar ao aluno ser agente ativo da aprendizagem e construtor do seu conhecimento. Verificou-se a necessidade de instrumentalizar os professores atraves de um programa de formacao continuada voltada para melhor desenvolvimento de acoes de educacao alimentar no ambiente Escolar / This research has the prospect entering the preoccupation with the Food and Nutrition Education in School Curriculum. The teacher in the school environment is a potential ally in the construction of knowledge on issues related to food and nutrition security. The aim of this study is to diagnose the concepts and skills of teachers and social role in relation to Food and Nutrition Education in order to subsidize the
construction of a Continuing Education Program, in attention to the precepts of the Law No. 11.947/2009. It is cross-sectional survey with a qualitative approach performed in three Elementary Schools in the Federal District, for data collection were used two strategies: a documentary analysis and semi-structured interviews. The data analysis was based on content analysis and the same technique for
thematic analysis. The meaning units were selected according to specific goals. For the purpose of document analysis, we used the political-pedagogical projects of three schools and semi-structured interviews. It was possible to infer that there is an intention to develop the teacher education so as to enable more students to be active
agents of learning and builder of his knowledge. There is a need to empower the teachers through a continuing education program geared towards better development of the actions of Nutrition Education in School environment. / BV UNIFESP: Teses e dissertações
