The aim of this work is do determitine social and psychological problems of the eldery people. Tasks of concluding work: -To explore the approaches a questionaire; -Analyze social and psychosocial problems. Methods of questioning, communication, interviews and observation have been applied in the research. The analysis of literature sources has revealed the approaches of different authors to the person's maturity, psysiological chenges of obsolescence, social and psychological peculiarities of elderly people. In the research, social and psychosocial problems of elderly people of the job of social worker have been determined. The hypothesis that was laid the begining of the work proved itself - elderly people do have psychosocial and social problems, including loss of independence, health disorders, problems of adaptation, loneliness, lack of communication, loss of realations with relatives, isolation, fear of death, lack of money for medicines and means of hygiene ect.
