La presente abordó la problemática de Nexa Resources, una empresa de minería y metalurgia,
con énfasis en la producción de zinc y cobre, con más de 60 años de experiencia en el desarrollo
de activos y con producción integrada en Brasil y Perú. A través de este estudio se concretó el
desarrollo de la consultoría en unidad minera Cerro Lindo lo que hizo posible identificar las
causas problemas que afectaban directamente el proceso productivo y con ello las metas de
cumplimiento de producción de mineral. A partir de las mismas se precisó el camino de acción
necesario para solventar dichas problemáticas. Las acciones ejecutadas como parte de esta
consultoría se estiman significativas no solo por las mejoras evidentes en cuanto infraestructura y
operatividad en el proceso de transporte, sino por la mejoría de condiciones del personal, el
compromiso asumido por la gerencia administrativa en pro de realizar monitoreo mucho más
preciso y sobre todo dado que esta inversión expresa un VAN proyectado a 5 años de
$38,444,977 y una TIR de 616%, siendo un éxito el proyecto. / The present one addressed the problems of Nexa Resources, a mining and metallurgy company,
with an emphasis on the production of zinc and copper, with more than 60 years of experience in
the development of assets and with integrated production in Brazil and Peru. Through this study,
the development of the consultancy in the Cerro Lindo mining unit was completed, which made
it possible to identify the causes of problems that directly affected the production process and,
with it, the mineral production compliance goals. From these, the path of action necessary to
solve these problems was specified. The actions carried out as part of this consultancy are
considered significant not only because of the evident improvements in terms of infrastructure
and operation in the transportation process, but also because of the improvement in the
conditions of the personnel, the commitment assumed by the administrative management in
favor of carrying out extensive monitoring more precise and especially since this investment
expresses a 5-year projected NPV of $38,444,977 and an IRR of 616%, the project being a
success.
