La calidad del servicio brindado por las empresas de transmisión de energía eléctrica en el
Perú puede reducir o limitar la posibilidad de lograr un mejor desempeño del sector de
energía; como consecuencia la disponibilidad u oferta de energía podría reducirse, el costo de
producción tendería a aumentar y la matriz productiva nacional se vería afectada. El estudio,
que asume una estrategia cualitativa de naturaleza inductiva y descriptiva; sobre información
recopilada a través de encuestas a profundidad semiestructuradas, buscó describir la
percepción de estas empresas con respecto a los motivos, factores de éxito y barreras para la
implementación del sistema de gestión de calidad y del sistema integrado de gestión; así
cómo estos han influido en el desarrollo de cada organización y el cumplimiento de los
requisitos normativos y operacionales / The quality of the service provided by the electric power transmission companies in Peru can
reduce or limit the possibility of achieving a better performance of the energy sector; as a
consequence the availability or supply of energy could be reduced, the cost of production
would tend to increase and the national productive matrix would be affected. The study,
which assumes a qualitative strategy of inductive and descriptive nature; on information
collected through semi-structured depth surveys, sought to describe the perception of these
companies regarding the reasons, success factors and barriers to the implementation of the
quality management system and the integrated management system; and how these have
influenced the development of each organization and compliance with regulatory and
