Previous issue date: 2006-08 / No início do século XX, o consumo de energia elétrica era uma questão de status e com o passar dos anos aumentava-se a geração havendo assim a abundância de energia a baixo custo. Mas, entre o final do século XX e início do século XXI, o consumo de energia elétrica aumentou de tal forma que a geração não foi capaz de atender à demanda de energia necessária, ocorrendo o risco do “Apagão”, sem mencionar que o valor do custo do fornecimento de energia aumentou com o passar dos anos. Com o advento do “Apagão” teve-se início a preocupação quanto à necessidade de racionamento de energia. Caso o racionamento de energia não fosse tratado com a devida importância, no “Apagão”, medidas de grande impacto deveriam ser tomadas, como o corte no fornecimento de energia. Portanto surgiram os estudos de melhor aproveitamento do que é gerado sendo criados programas de conservação de energia e divulgação quanto à necessidade do racionamento de energia, criação de auditorias energéticas, medidas de conservação de energia e criação de comissões de energia nos maiores consumidores de energia. Assim, tendo em vista que o campus da Universidade de Brasília (UnB) possui área construída de grandes proporções, este trabalho tem como objetivo implantar um sistema de gestão do consumo de energia elétrica no campus, com a implantação de um programa e um sistema de conservação de energia sendo que este faz a monitoração em tempo real, com a finalidade de reduzir o consumo de energia e aumentar a produtividade. ________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / In the beginning of century XX, the consumption of electric energy was a status question and with passing of the years it was increased generation thus having the abundance of energy the low cost. But, for end of century XX up to begin of century XXI, the consumption of electric energy increased of such form that the generation was not capable to take care of to the demand of necessary energy, occurring the risk of "Apagão", without mentioning that the value of the cost of the energy supply increased with passing of the years. With the advent of "Apagão" it begins the concern with the necessity of energy rationing. Case the energy rationing was not dealt with serious importance, in "Apagão", measures of great impact would have to be taken, as the cut in the energy supply. Therefore the studies had appeared of better exploitation of that it is generated being created programs of energy conservation and spreading how much to the necessity of the energy rationing, creation of energy auditorships, measures of energy conservation and creation of commissions of energy in the consuming greater of energy. Thus, on knows that the campus of Universidade of Brasília (UnB) possess vast constructed area, this work has as objective to install a system of management of the consumption of electric energy in the campus, with the implantation of a program and a system of energy conservation being that this makes the monitoration on line, with the purpose to reduce the energy consumption and to increase the productivity.
