Para o desenvolvimento de suas atividades, faz-se necessário que ele tenha uma formação sólida. Partindo do pressuposto de que a formação inicial não possibilita o conhecimento das especificidades da função e nem a plena realização das suas atribuições, esta pesquisa de natureza qualitativa tem como objetivo geral analisar as proposições da Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo (SEE/SP) em relação às atividades de formação continuada destinadas aos professores coordenadores. A análise se deu por meio dos documentos oficiais, da revisão bibliográfica e da percepção dos processos formativos por ocupantes da função. Os professores que assumem a coordenação pedagógica sem ter conhecimento específico da função acabam buscando em outros espaços formativos instrumentos para lidar com as especificidades das atribuições e com as dificuldades inerentes ao trabalho. Essa pesquisa apresenta ainda como objetivos específicos: analisar os documentos oficiais - resoluções - relativos à coordenação pedagógica no aspecto específico da formação dos ocupantes da função; analisar os programas e projetos oficiais de formação continuada oferecida pela rede estadual aos coordenadores pedagógicos; problematizar, na perspectiva dos próprios coordenadores, a formação continuada oferecida pela rede estadual paulista. A pesquisa é de natureza documental, complementada por coleta de dados empíricos por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: In the school context, the Coordinating Teacher (CT) is legally responsible for activities of different natures, such as pedagogical, organizational, monitoring and performance control of students. For the development of its activities, it is necessary that it has made a solid formation. Assuming that the initial training does not allow the knowledge of the specificities of the function nor the full accomplishment of its attributions, this research of qualitative quality has the general objective to analyze the proposals of the Secretary of Education of the State of São Paulo (SES/ SP) of the activities of continuous training to the coordinating teachers by means of the official documents, from the bibliographical review and the perception of the training processes by occupants of the function. Teachers who take on pedagogical coordination without having specific knowledge of the function end up seeking in other formative spaces instruments to deal with the specificities of the assignments and with the inherent difficulties of the work. This research presents still as specific objectives: analyze the official documents - resolutions - concerning pedagogical coordination in the specific aspect of the training of the occupants of the function; analyze the official programs and projects of continuing education offered by the state network to the pedagogical coordinators; to problematize, from the perspective of the coordinators themselves, the continuous training offered by the São Paulo state network. The research is of documentary nature, complemented by the collection of empirical data through semi-structured interviews. The research subjects were five pedagogical coordinators who work in different cycles of schooling and in different cities belonging to the Teaching Board (TB) of the region of Bauru - SP.
