La tuberculosis constituye aun un gran problema de salud pública para la población a nivel nacional y mundial, con lo que desmejora la calidad de vida de las personas que padecen esta enfermedad. Considerada como una enfermedad que no solo afecta la salud física sino la esfera psicosocial ya que en sus bases biológicas se ha construido la estigmación social considerándolos como “objetos indeseables” quien como fuente de contagio debe ser rehuido.
Sobre estos aspectos se concretiza el presente estudio: “Relación entre el Clima Social Familiar y Nivel de Autoestima de los pacientes con tuberculosis que asisten al Centro Materno Infantil Tablada de Lurín”; con el objetivo de determinar la relación entre el clima social familiar y el nivel de autoestima, además de identificar las características del clima social familiar y determinar el nivel de autoestima. Teniendo como propósito brindar información valedera y confiable al profesional de Enfermería a fin de que se ejecuten las estrategias pertinentes en los temas de estudio. La hipótesis planteada es si existe relación entre el clima social familiar y el nivel de autoestima de los pacientes con tuberculosis.
Los resultados que se obtuvieron demuestran que la mayoría de pacientes con tuberculosis presentan un nivel de autoestima de medio a bajo, lo cual conducirá a una incapacidad de afronte a las situaciones adversas ejerciendo efectos negativos sobre su salud; asimismo se evidenció que la mayoría de pacientes tienen un clima social familiar en los rangos de medianamente favorable a desfavorable, lo cual indica que los pacientes no cuentan con un adecuado soporte familiar para el afronte de su enfermedad. / --- The tuberculosis even constitutes a great problem of public health for the population at national and world level, with what deteriorates the quality of people's life that you/they suffer this illness. On these aspects the present study is summed up: “Relationship between the Family Social Climate and Level of the patients' Self-esteem with tuberculosis that attend the Infantile Maternal Center Tablada of Lurín”; with the objective of determining the relationship between the family social climate and the level of self-esteem, besides to identify the characteristics of the family social climate and to determine the level of self-esteem. Having as purpose to offer valid and reliable information to the professional of Infirmary so that the pertinent strategies are executed in the study topics. The outlined hypothesis is if relationship exists between the family social climate and the level of the patients' self-esteem with tuberculosis.
The results that they were obtained they demonstrate that most of patient with tuberculosis presents a level of self-esteem of half to under, that which will lead to an inability of it confronts to the adverse situations exercising negative effects on their health; also it was evidenced that most of patients have a family social climate in the ranges of fairly favorable to unfavorable, that which indicates that the patients don't have an appropriate support relative for the one confronts of their illness.
