Buller är något som förekommer med stor sannolikhet ombord på samtliga fartygstyper, oavsett ålder på fartyget och vad fartyget används till. Att utsätta sig för buller har en negativ inverkan på välmående och detta påverkar sjömannen negativt. I takt med att samhället utvecklas så ställs det högre och högre krav på att arbetsmiljön ska vara bra nog för att inte orsaka arbetsrelaterade och långsiktiga skador. På grund av fartygets höga ålder så saknas det befintliga bullerkartor ombord. Därför är syftet med arbetet att jämföra bullernivåerna ombord med befintliga bullergränsvärden enligt de lagar och regler som finns. Den empiriska delen av studien består av en kvantitativ undersökning med hjälp av en mobil-app ”Buller” som tillhandahålls av arbetsmiljöverket. Arbetsmiljöverket har testat mobiltelefonmodellen som har använts och fått jämförbara resultat med professionell utrustning, vilket har använts för att inhämta mätdata dels när fartyget är till sjöss och när fartyget utför lastningsoperationer. Resultatet av studien visade att majoriteten av mätresultaten överskred de lagliga gränsvärden som finns. Skillnaderna på mätresultaten när fartyget är till sjöss och under pågående lastningsoperationer var dock marginella. / Noise is something that occurs with great likelihood onboard all types of vessels, regardless of the vessel's age and its intended use. Being exposed to noise has a negative impact on well-being, which adversely affects the seafarer. As society progresses, there are increasingly higher demands for the work environment to be sufficient to not cause work-related and long-term injuries. Due to the vessel's old age, there are no existing noise maps on board. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to compare the onboard noise levels with the existing noise limits according to the laws and regulations that exist. The empirical part of the study consists of a quantitative investigation using a mobile app "Noise" provided by the Swedish Work Environment Authority. The Swedish Work Environment Authority has tested the mobile phone model that has been used and obtained comparable results with professional equipment, which has been used to gather measurement data both when the ship is at sea and during loading operations. The results of the study showed that the majority of the measurement results exceeded the legal limits that exist. However, the differences in the measurement results when the ship is at sea and during ongoing loading operations were marginal.
