Previous issue date: 2010-12-13 / The genesis, development and future of the Paraná Faxinais stand as troubling questions for those engaged in researching this type of social organization found in south-central region of Paraná State. From technical reports to doctoral dissertations are found referring to Faxinais, however, even though already quite a few research applicants, many gaps still jump to the researchers. In that sense this research is presented, hypothesizing that the Family Structure and production of the Capital contribute to the maintenance and development of Faxinais, especially in the case study of the Taquari Brooks, chosen by Faxinal Faxinal Research Network as a pilot, from the standpoint of obtaining evidence and analysis of some whys concerning these communities. Under a geographic look based on the empirical quest to build a base of arguments that indicate the likelihood that the hypothesis raised initially be actually true. Structured in chapters three synergistic research now presented as an introduction provides some considerations on the Paraná and Faxinais Faxinal Taquari of Brooks in Rio Azul in particular. In a second moment it is the family structure as a key structure faxinalenses and finally settles a brief discussion of the Capital and its implications within faxinalenses, particularly as an active social identity with high valuation. Search here from the living space and the reality of everyday faxinalenses demonstrate the elements and facts that lead Faxinal Taquari be maintained, although there is some tendency disrupt this type of community in the state of Parana. / A gênese, desenvolvimento e futuro dos Faxinais do Paraná se apresentam como questionamentos inquietantes para àqueles que se dedicam a pesquisar este tipo de organização social encontrado no centro-sul paranaense. Desde relatórios técnicos até teses de doutorado são encontrados referindo-se aos Faxinais, contudo, mesmo sendo já em bom número as pesquisas recorrentes, muitas lacunas ainda saltam aos olhos dos pesquisadores. Nesse sentido apresenta-se esta investigação, levantando a hipótese de que a Estrutura Familiar e a produção do Capital Social contribuem para a manutenção e desenvolvimento dos Faxinais, especialmente no estudo de caso do Taquari dos Ribeiros, Faxinal escolhido pela Rede Faxinal de Pesquisa como piloto, do ponto de vista de obtenção de dados factuais e análise de alguns porquês referentes a estas comunidades. Sob um olhar geográfico partindo do empírico busca-se montar uma base de argumentos que revelem a possibilidade de a hipótese inicialmente levantada ser efetivamente verdadeira. Estruturada em três capítulos sinérgicos a investigação agora apresentada estabelece em caráter introdutório algumas considerações sobre os Faxinais do Paraná e o Faxinal Taquari dos Ribeiros no município de Rio Azul em especial. Em um segundo momento trata-se a Estrutura familiar como peça fundamental da estrutura faxinalense e finalmente estabelece-se uma breve discussão sobre o Capital Social e suas implicações no âmbito faxinalense, sobretudo enquanto ativo social, com alta valorização identitária. Procura-se aqui, a partir do espaço vivido e da realidade do dia a dia faxinalense demonstrar os elementos e os fatos que levam o Faxinal Taquari a se manter, ainda que haja certa tendência deste tipo de comunidade desarticular-se no estado do Paraná.
